No frills hotel which was well placed to get into the centre of London
5 mins walk from the tube which was then 15 mins to the centre so perfect for location.
The hotel was clean & basic. Room was fine & comfortable . Shower...More
I stayed here on business due to the location. I wasn’t expecting much just cheap and cheerful, don’t be put off by the old fashioned exterior. The lady on reception was warm and friendly and had great rapport with the many returning guests, the hotel...More
This place was such a good find, the lady on the reception Saturday afternoon/Sunday morning was the kindest most helpful person we have ever met on stays in London hotels. Added to that the bonus of free parking, free WiFi and full breakfast where the...More

Stayed here several times and it doesn't disappoint. The staff are really welcoming and the hotel is clean and modern.
Breakfast is a buffet style with most of the food really nice, the sausages aren't of my taste but everything else was fab.

You can get the Heathrow express to the central London station (cant remember which one it is) and connect by tube (subway) to Finchley Road station or vice versa, if you are fit. Or you could get the tube all the way to the centre and change to the Jubilee Line for Finchley Road tube station or vice versa. It is definitely worth getting an Oyster card for public transport as it will make travel a bit cheaper. Depends how long you will be in London for. It might be harder if you have bags and are older/disabled and you might need a taxi for the end bits. Buses also go very nearby along Finchley Road.
