The car park was a big bonus! And was then easy to get the tube into London. The breakfast buffet was nice, with a good selection and the staff there very helpful. The room itself was clean and comfortable and had everything in that you need. Overall good value for money.
Very pleasant Hotel 4 miles from the M1. Very clean, very tidy. Rooms are ideal, comfy bed ! Nice little bar to relax in. Breakfast included in the price was excellent and the waitress very helpful. Always someone in reception. Small car park at the rear
Very happy with the hotel which was good value for money. Well situated ,nice staff and clean. Recommended. However I have written this review to alert others around a potential problem regarding access which, through no fault of the hotel, cost us £65. We arrived, by car, at 15:15 and were fined because there is a low pollution zone in place around a local school at opening and closing hours. In fact this is mentioned in the information sent by the hotel but unless you read the whole email in detail it is easily missed. The warning sign is also easily missed when you turn off Finchley Road in traffic and not quite sure where you are going . Be warned :)
The staff were exceptional, helped me with parking, booking taxis, nothing was too much trouble. Great location new at a tube station just put of the main hustle and bustle of the city. Rooms were clean, and stay was fantastic value for money. Would definitely stay again
The front desk staff were friendly and extremely helpful. They went out of their way to help with critical computer problems. The owner also told me of a clinic nearby where I could get my COVID to get home. The breakfast was the full English breakfast that was far better than their rival hotel, and I felt you received far better value for your money. Would definitely come again.
Stopped there for 2 days Booked a room for my son my nephew and myself,3 adults Room advertised (double and a single or 3 singles Got 3 singles, received an email saying they could accommodate at no extra charge ? When we got there it was 2 single and a fold out bed 1st morning at breakfast went down there was no bacon when I asked they said I had to wait 10 mins when it came there was nothing left in the other trays 2nd morning no sausages When I inquired I was told that’s it for today Not happy at all
Stayed here for a week end break in London the hotel was very clean great breakfast was superb plenty of choice they have there own bar with very good prices the tube is only 5mins away would definitely stay here again
The beds are comfortable. The duvets are warm. The rooms are quiet. The breakfast is nice. It makes you realise quite how rare a good nights sleep actually is in a modern hotel, with their thin duvets and hard beds. Don’t change a thing: this hotel is a modern classic!
Great hotel we arrived early an was allowed to check in the lady that checked us in was very helpful an polite an told us all about the area we booked here to visit Camden market she even done us a map. Room was good had everything you need . Free parking as well . Breakfast was nice Bar in the lounge was nice an cheep not like London prices had a few drinks . All the staff we seen an spoke to were polite an happy to talk to you (not like some other big hotels). Over all if I was to come back to the area I would definitely stay here again
I have stayed here many times and the reception staff are always friendly and professional, certainly the nicest I have encountered in London. The parking can be tight but thanks to their efforts we have never been inconvenienced. The arrangements at breakfast are a bit more challenging but I think it’s best to remove self-service for now. I can see the atmosphere has changed since pre-pandemic times but I hope it will return to normal once tourists return. Going forward the hotel does need to redecorate to justify the prices it charges.
