Strangely, it's got much to appreciate, by not having much to offer. Our garden room was generous and nicely appointed, in a matter of fact way. No TV, but free wifi in the rooms. As other have already said, it really is a calm, tranquil place with a Christain foundation, yet reaches out to .......everyone? At the end of one...

The Royal Foundation of St Katharine is in the heart of London but you would never know it, its tranquil, the pace and ambience is leisurely and its clean throughout the property. The meals served in the main eating area are hearty and plentiful and the chapel is breathtaking. My room was quaint and dainty and had everything I needed...

Not a hotel but a conference centre/retreat. I just loved to stay here. Pleasant room, well equipped (true, without TV, true, without hairdryer but), quiet, super clean, with nice view. 24 hour doorman. Great breakfast. Pleasant staff. The quiet was very much appreciated. Perfect for a retreat. I felt it was a priviledge to stay here. Our room, on the...

Unfortunately radiator in room was so noisy when switched on and no one had put the one on in the bathroom so Baltic this morning. That...

This is one of London's hidden gems - a great place to stay for people who like beauty in the heart of the city. It's a no frills stay but actually I value the Foundation's focus on providing a peaceful environment and the staff's thoughtful approach to client care and communication.
