If you're planning to take any sort of coach(bus) tours in or out of London then this hotel is the most convenient choice, being only a brief easy walk from the Victoria Coach Station. It is also directly next to the train station. The hotel is a beautiful old building with a pretty lobby and charming interiors. Our room was...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your charming post on The Grosvenor. I was thrilled to read your comments which will take pride of place on our team noticeboard. Situated in the corner of Victoria mainline station with easy access to public transport links you couldn't ask for a more convenient location. Built in 1862 and steeped in history, our team are...

Only here for one night before we flew out to Europe. Rooms are small but did the job. Very convenient as you can access Victoria station through a back door connecting into the hotel. When we had to get up at 5am to get the Gatwick express this was very handy! Wasn't able to check into our room until the...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. Our hotel is indeed very handy for catching the Gatwick Express which is literally just steps away from our side entrance on Victoria mainline station. Our team will always do their very best to accommodate guests who arrive earlier than our 3pm check in time and I regret this was not possible on this...

The service has been outstanding and the room excellent. The concierge has been very helpful and the reception were friendly too. My 5 night trip went so smooth and a lot of it I owe to the Grosvenor .

I stayed at this hotel for business. When I entered my room, the bath was wet. I turned on the light and water was coming through the ceiling. I think the maid knew, but didn't do anything to warn us. I called the front desk and they moved me to a smaller room. The wing rooms are a nightmare to...

The hotel and room was very nice. We got a family room w a double and a single and it was spacious, clean, and comfortable with a nice full bath. The hotel is very pretty, staff helpful, and is centrally located to many things. short walk to buckingham palace, Westminster and even the Thames, where we caught a boat. It...

This s a very conveniently located hotel near Victoria station ( it has its own entrance from the Station hall) and the building is quite grand with big staircases and high ceilings. A very well placed hotel if you are visiting the sights of London. The open top tour buses stop just outside the front door and you have easy access to both the underground and overground railways. The hotel has a grand entrance but the concierge and reception desks don't quite fit in. They are tiny desks hidden away which leads...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
