We booked an executive room on the fourth floor. Room was very nice - and also very quiet. The bathroom was good and the amenities provided were Penhaligan, which are really nice. Plenty of space in the room and a very comfortable bed. We had access to the Executive Lounge. This is located on the 2nd floor. The lounge was...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. Our Executive rooms offer that little extra touch of luxury with access to our Executive Lounge and I will certainly address the issues you raised regarding the food running out with our Head Chef. I was pleased you enjoyed our Reunion bar and were well looked after by our knowledgeable team. Due to the...

We arrived from Gatwick Airport, and it was delightful that I wasn’t worried that the weather could be blustery and rainy, but I wasn’t too concerned since Grosvenor Hotel can be accessed inside busy, bustling Victoria Station. In a previous trip, I’ve been booked in another bed and breakfast a few streets away from Victoria Station, and it could be an...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. With this inclement weather we certainly do offer a perfect location nestled in the corner of Victoria mainline station and the underground and bus stations just steps away from our side entrance. We have a selection of room shapes and sizes due to the age of our building with standard rooms located in our...

Went to the Grosvenor straight from a tour of Buckingham Palace a nice end to a good day out nice surrounds and a very comfortable lounge. I have rated this very good because it is better than average but the sandwiches were a little dry on some and a little soggy on others but the cakes and scones were lovely.

Pretty much what it says in the title. The whole hotel is nicely decorated and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The staff are really friendly and it couldn't be in a better location for Victoria station which is the main reason I chose the hotel.

Stayed at Grosvenor for 5 nights mid August and for us, perfect location. Rooms were not large, but bed very good in quality. Located with actual walkway to Victoria Station but no noise which was amazing. Breakfast buffet excellent with lots of choices. Bar/pub in hotel good too and reasonable with interesting specials. Check-in was easy after long journey. Walking...

Dear Reviewer, Thanks for your post. Due to the age of the building, we have a variety of room sizes, our smaller standard rooms on the wing section and our larger deluxe and executive rooms in the main building. Our location is indeed perfect with travel links right outside our doors and many tourist attractions within walking distance. I regret...

Had a lovely afternoon tea, straight after the Buckingham Palace State Rooms tour. Such a lovely end to a great day out. The perfect finish to a Royal day out... The manager at the cafe was great & very helpful. He understood that one of the guests were vegetarian and quickly made up a separate plate of vegetable sandwiches as...

We were a bit concerned when we realised we had booked a hotel adjacent to a railway station and feared sleepless nights filled with regretful announcements about cancelled services to the south coast. Fortunately the sound proofing in the room was excellent. The plumbing made noises similar to an aircraft landing, though. The room was comfortable and of a decent...

It was love at first sight but a bit out of our budget bracket. We checked out other options but couldn’t get our minds off The Grosvenor Hotel. So we went ahead and booked a standard double room. It was well worth it. For starters, you can’t beat the location – the Victoria station below, a bus stop right outside,...

Requested a quiet room & got one. Room was huge. Helpful staff. Lovely hotel - entrance foyer was impressive. Bed very comfy. Only downside was the water pressure in the shower - although the shower head was about 12" diameter, the pressure was still quite weak. Breakfast wasn't great as the porridge was lumpy and chewy, and the staff couldn't...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
