Great location, friendly staff, good cooking facilities.
Family break to visit Winter Wonderland and Natural History Museum all close by. Staff really helpful and friendly. Room large with good storage (lockers also available). Some of the bathrooms were out of order (although there were plenty...More

I loved staying here! I think I got a private twin room - which meant I had a bunk bed with USB ports built into the frame (clever!) and it came with doonas and pillows. I hired a fluffy towel from them and I can't...More

I went with my friend and her aunt and we stayed in a private room next to the gardens. Everything was so clean and the kitchen was great! I would definitely recommend to anyone traveling on a budget but want a safe place to stay!
We were allowed to leave our luggage before our rooms were ready which was helpful. We had a room which overlooked the garden and was very quiet. It was spotlessly clean with comfortable bunk beds and shared shower and toilet facilities. Very basic and not...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
As Vikram says, you can check in before 2pm but get the key card only at 2pm.
You can borrow the hair dryer from the reception. You give 10 pounds as deposit and get the money back when you return the hair dryer.

Thanks, already have transportation to airport to and from, I'm going on a separate tour and have to meet the tour bus at 6.15 a.m, it's only a half mile to my destination, but don't want to be walking in the early mornings, and in the dark by myself....just concerned since it was a Sunday morning and not a week day if I would have any problems...thanks again.
