Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We were told on arrival that we had been given a complementary room upgrade. The room was lovely with a high ceiling and long curtains. Very bright, airy room and comfortable. Very comfortable bed! Great location and value for money. Will return!

Upon our arrival at the hotel, we were greeted by friendly staff. They held our luggage while we waited for our room to be ready. We ate breakfast, which was fantastic. The room was small, but very comfortable. The hotel was immaculately clean. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel several times, and the food was delicious. Anytime I needed a cab or help with directions, the staff was extremely helpful. We are visiting London again in June 2024, but unfortunately the hotel was already full because I wanted to stay again on that visit. I would highly recommend. The tube is about a 10 minute walk.

Stayed for a night and very surprised. We were welcomed at the door with a pleasant aroma and the hotel didn’t let us down. The staff were all friendly and the room was bright and new. Slept well and can’t fault our stay. Breakfast included and not just continental. Would definitely stay again.

When we arrived we were warmly received, they went beyond the norm Carrying bags up to our room, offering to show how all the equipment worked, unlocking the fridge and fetching cold milk to go with our coffee- thank you. The room was a delight, well equipped and comfortable. We ate dinner in and the steak was beautifully cooked and the cocktails delicious.

Fabulous hotel near to The Royal Albert Hall, and we couldn’t fault anything. We were in room 1010 and it was huge , everything was in it you could possibly want and it was all spotless , high quality and in perfect working order. The beds were comfy , the linen was white and crisp, lovely bathroom and shower, big fluffy towels / robes and a breakfast that rivalled The Savoy , fresh squeezed orange juice the best and everything was delicious and perfectly presented. Lovely staff too . We are glad we couldn’t book our original hotel as it was full , this is better and we can’t wait to come back for another stay . Thank you 🤩

Excellent stay in this very nice hotel. Great area, with lots to see and do. Easy walking distance of Royal Albert Hall, Kensington High Street, Science Museum, Natural History Museum, Victoria and Albert Museum, Kensington Palace and Gardens. Lots of local restaurants and pubs within easy reach. Lovely big clean room, very comfortable bed and small, but sufficient, shower room. Breakfast was individually cooked to order and was very good. Reception staff and concierge very helpful. Would highly recommend.

My friend and I stayed one night at The Queens Gate Hotel and thought it was fabulous. The room was a great size with high ceilings and high end fixtures and fittings. The bathroom was opulent, with just about everything having been thought about. The beds were super comfy with lovely linen and pillows. The room even had plug fittings for various countries. The staff do everything they can to make your stay a good one. Jerry from the concierge is a real asset to the hotel. We couldn't fault our stay in a very well situated and we'll connected hotel. Next time we're in London we will definitely stay at The Queens Gate - we recommend it without hesitation.
