I stayed here for one night as I needed to be in the area for an early start the next day. I was originally booked into a twin bed as this was all that was left but, after asking, they kindly changed me to a double for no extra charge when one became available. The room was excellent - all...

If you're in the Westminster area this is a good choice for a bite to eat. It's the 'traditional' London pub that has branched out into an eatery as well. The decor is as to be expected, dark wood and hand pumps. The food is of a reasonable quality and priced about right for the area you're in. It's close...

The hotel has a fantastic location in the heart of Westminster with main sights in walking distance. Tube station is only 50 m down the road. The room and the facilities were great and coffee, tea, water, juice and even two bottles of beer were provided free of charge. The staff was welcoming and very helpful. I would return to...

As London was "full" I stayed here rather than my normal hotel. Very pleasantly surprised. The rooms are very comfortable and of a high standard. Very good location and although a little noisy from the busy street there is no spill over from the traditional pub downstairs. Very good freshly coooked breakfast. Would definitely consider staying here again personally

The location was perfect for my meeting, the staff welcoming and friendly and the rooms well appointed and very comfortable. However, all of this can not compensate for the noise of construction traffic at 1;30am and linen delivery at 2:30am plus the slamming of the auto close door on floor 2 plus very creaky floorboards...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
