I really wanted to give a 5 star rating but the following incident lost this place a star - we needed to get a taxi to take us to Paddington Station as our bags were very heavy & my wife had injured her back earlier. The concierge called us a cab. It turned out it was a mini cab, something...

We got in at 7am after a redeye to London. Took the Heathrow express directly to Paddington station, and walked to the D-Hyde Park Hotel. Easy to access, a little far with rolling luggage, but doable. My 78 year old mother was definitely tired after the walk. If I had to do again, I'd have ordered a taxi. But upon...

We got one of the two available quadruple room and we fit in 5 people (2 adults and 3 children). The room was spacious enough and appropriately refurbished. What we found really outstanding is the quality of the breakfast that was served at the table freshly cooked right from the kitchen. Full English Breakfast seems the same everywhere, the difference...

We are a family of four with two under 4. I knew ahead of time that we had a 24hr layover between flights at Heathrow so I rebooked tickets on the Heathrow Express. We left all but one of our luggage at a baggage check and hopped the train in to Paddington Station. The hotel is really close to the...

We had a triple room which worked out very well. The room was nice and had everything we needed. Everything was clean. The beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the breakfast each day. The walk to Paddington was about 5 minutes. We did it every day. It was no trouble at all.

The Darlington Hyde Park is a 5-minute walk (even with luggage) from Paddington Station, making it an excellent base for exploring London and beyond. The shops at Oxford Street are an easy walk, and there is a good choice of restaurants and pubs in the neighborhood. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a guest laundry (washer and dryer)....

We stayed in a good clean double room which was just big enough for sleeping for our family but it left little room for talking or relaxing at night when kids had gone to bed. However, it seems on par with many others in London in the price bracket. The hotel is very close to Paddington Train Station, restaurants and...

Location Sussex Garden is a very good location. Near Paddington station - Heathrow express and good access to shopping, musicals and UK touristy spots. A lot of restaurant in the neigbourhoods, even souvenir shops. Free wi-fi is ok. Availability of a self laundry machine is very helpful. Breakfast was quite boring. We had same food 3 days in a row....

Lovely clean, hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. Had a double room which was a little on the small side and the bathroom was a bit of a squeeze but it was lovely and warm and had everything we needed - and we were only in there to sleep and change. Very good breakfast, good choice and cooked fresh so...
