Stayed here for an anniversary and found everything to be top class. Reception and hall staff were friendly and efficient, the room overlooking the garden was large, well furnished and comfortable, and the new décor has a touch of panache. We had both dinner and breakfast in the restaurant, which has really moved up a gear and is comparable to...

We went to the Goring today for afternoon tea to celebrate my friends 50th birthday. Firstly the staff are extremely attentive and just made our afternoon so enjoyable from the front door through to the garden. They are a real credit to the hotel. The garden area and seating area were so beautiful you didn't know you were in central...

Stayed for a long weekend. The hotel is a few minutes walk from Victoria underground Station and just round the corner from Buckingham Palace. Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
