My husband booked The Goring Hotel for a long weekend and as soon as we arrived the staff were absolutely amazing. The décor is stunning and we relaxed in the bar before we went out for the evening. Its not often you go somewhere and receive such excellent customer service.

Stayed here for a weekend break and we absolutely loved it. Superb location, amazing facilities and first class staff. We had a beautiful room overlooking the garden (yes garden in central London!) with a small terrace, sadly the weather just not quite warm enough to enjoy it though we did sit out on the bar terrace as it had heaters!...

The Goring is a quiet, refined, most-English-hotel-immaginable. The staff is excellent and location are superb. Returning to the Goring is as anticipated as the city itself.I highly recommend it to everyone

From the moment we arrived we were treated like royalty. My husband and I definitely looked worse for wear after being on a flight for 12hrs and in comfy summer attire, regardless the staff welcomed us with a warm smile. Dane and Paul were usually at the door to great us in the mornings or evenings and they were fantastic!...

Really lovely place, not only the rooms, but the staff, the tea room, the bar, the restaurant....everything is right and luxurious here. I couldn't recommend it more highly. We intended to move on to other places, but this hotel was so wonderful, we decided to stay put and use this as our base of operations. The concierge staff was amazing,...

Extremely pleasant afternoon tea. Very fresh sandwiches, plenty of them. Delicious scones and expertly served. Some might think expensive but ideal for a special occasion. We had the rose champagne option which was delicious. Would throughly recommend

We had a delightful afternoon tea, the food, the staff and the service were all excellent. The sandwiches were moist and flavourful, the cakes were a piece of art and melted in the mouth and the scones fresh and light.. When it was time to leave the cakes we had not managed to eat were boxed so we could take...

I travel to London twice a year for business & have stayed at all the top hotels, fortunately, a friend told me about the Goring - quintessential British. The experience was top notch - great rooms, fabulous bedding, bathrooms luxurious and the staff is over the top - they want you to enjoy your stay. I found out this is...

Service really perfection. Atmosphere excellent. Singles adequate, ample wardrobe space, excellent bathroom, perfect room temperature, windows can be opened. Food good. Strong and continuous wi fi. Within 10 minutes of arriving in the Hotel you are addressed by your name. No breakfast buffet which means that if you are on a business trip and have an early start can be...

WOW! The service at The Goring truly is one of a kind. You will not be disappointed. From the moment we arrived we were greeted by Dane on the door who knew are name already. (Wherever you go in the hotel, all staff seem to know your name, honestly don't know how they do it) our room was spotless and...

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
