Good big family room slept 5 easily and was clean and tidy - but tiny shower and trying to get everyone through breakfast before 8.30am ( last orders ) is poor and caused queues and unnecessary hassle. It is convenient to Paddington and indeed Hyde Park - but it is what it is - a basic budget hotel.

The good things first. It was clean. It had a tea tray and basic toiletries. It had a fan to combat the London heat. The bad. Broken shower. Bathroom tiny and dirty. Old uncomfortable beds. Tiny TV. Breakfast was chaotic. Not enough tables, had to wait 20 mins to be seated. Paid for full English breakfast but was given choice...

Very conveniently located near Paddington station, the room was very clean and beds comfortable. The full English breakfast which was included was very tasty and a good start to our day. All in all this hotel was good value for money. Will thoroughly recommend.

Booking in was not the friendliest of affairs. We got told we were across the road at the other part of the hotel. Five sets of stairs later we found our room. It was small but functional. It was very hot despite the window being open. The room was ok for an overnight stay but would not want to stay...

My daughter and I stayed in a twin room for 1 night in July. Given the very reasonable cost (£110) for such a central location, I wasn't sure what to expect but I was delighted with our room. Although small, it was spotlessly clean from décor (which looked fresh and recently refurbished) to bedding and en suite shower room (also...

We booked this hotel for an overnight stay as we had a morning flight to catch and the hotel is conveniently located close the the Paddington Station. While booking I requested for a late night check in and a ground floor room as we were at the hotel for only 5 hours. I also called on the day to reconfirmed...

We arrived very late in the evening, we were pleasantly greeted and checked in with no probs. We were surprised to find that our rooms were in their sister hotel across the road. We had great weather so the short walk was ok. Luckily, we were fit and healthy to climb to the fourth floor to our rooms ( my...

Stayed here for 2 nights during half term. Room was very clean, being a very central location the rooms are compact. Breakfast, Would say it was a basic English breakfast, all fresh and loved the warm croissants and scones the ladies did a very good job and we were looked after very well. Good accommodation in a good location.

'Tis rare to have a full breakfast included in the price of a "budget hotel" in London. Fry up and toast and croissants and cereal and fruit, tea, coffee, juice etc. The only reason this does not have 5 stars is because the toilet and shower room were tiny. All very clean. Nice staff. Very close to Paddington tube. Very...
