Hampstead Village is elegant and sophisticated and the Guesthouse itself is charming. Each room in this cozy house has its own unique theme and lovely view. The house and its tranquil garden are located right beside Hampstead Heath park. There is a romantic feel to the whole area and in fact the house the poet Keats lived in is just... More

It was a wonderful time that we spent there. Very nice place and people. Unique atmosphere. Very warm welcome. Totally correspond to the description. Only good memories, so we'd like to come back again someday.

I was about 20 days with the family in this place, Annemarie and Jim are discreet people, the house is very beautiful with a lot of old things and books, the connection is accellente and if you love going to run, there is a close Hampstead Heath

I found this place in 2007 when I first came to London and it was the epitome of everything I wanted to find in this city. I fell in love with Hampstead because of its unique pubs, quiet streets, beautiful houses, John Keats and, of course, the Heath. This adorable house has the perfect location if you area tourist who... More

My wife and I stayed there on our weekend break, visiting from Belgium. This was not our first time in London. What a great, refreshing difference between this lovely place and the mediocre, noisy, run-of-the-mill hotels in the West End that we ended up with on previous occasions - for almost the same price. We felt immediately at home; it... More

This is certainly quirky, I don’t quite know where to start. At the beginning I suppose…. First impressions were that the guy running the place was a little odd. Not unpleasant or anything, he just seemed to have an odd demeanour about him. For example, I had e-mailed them the night before to let them know what time we’d be... More

I booked this place for my Mum who had to travel from Lancashire to Hampstead to attend a funeral and I booked her in for 4 nights. My mum was shown to her room where the 'receptionist' explained that there were tea and coffee facilities. When my Mum commented that there was no milk, the receptionist confirmed that tea and... We are a family with two kids and stayed for 10 days in the Guesthouse. First we were at the studio flat which we liked a lot. The kitchen and bathroom are very small, but just big enough. Then we moved to the yellow room in the basement. We found it a comfortable stay. The kids had a lot of... More

The guesthouse is reasonably located for the Heath and is clean. Apart from that it is just not a great place to stay. The owners lack customer service to an alarming degree and the rooms are just full of junk. Some reviewers call this "quirky" but I feel it just demonstrates that this is their home which they are trying... More

I have a fortnights work in Hampstead once a year in June and for the last four years have stayed at the guesthouse, in three different rooms. Each has had it's own unique characteristics - a garden room in a quirky shed space, a basement room with its own entrance full of art books, and an upstairs room with a... More
