This is an excellent place to stay. Located In the very heart of London, walking distance to Tube and Euston train station. Many thanks to Louis and his team for the warm welcome and for making our stay exceptionally comfortable.

Stayed for one night as I had a meeting in Euston the next day. Great location, lovely room overlooking the garden. Breakfast very tasty and cooked to order. Would recommend and would stay in again, a pleasant change to chain hotels

The hosts were super nice with us, namely with the kids. Our room, was not huge but was very nice, good light with a window facing a little garden. Excellent neighbourhood, super central (2 minutes walking to British Museum) but quiet. The breakfast is super complete.

The hotel is central for all the tourist attractions. A 10 minute walk let's you enjoy the sights and sounds of London. A friendly welcome from the owners, Teresa and Louis, make this a very enjoyable stay. We had a nice quiet room on the ground floor to the back of the hotel. Thoroughly recommended. A huge choice of fresh...

I'm hesitant to write a review because I selfishly don't want the hotel to be fully booked when I visit London in the future! I love everything about this hotel: the style, the decor, the location, the huge variety available for breakfast, the welcoming and friendly staff... I simply won't stay anywhere else when visiting London.

Hard to beat the previous reviews! My visit gave me the feeling of visiting close friends or family, this hotel has the prefect location and Lewis,Teresa and family are outstanding hosts. Very much a family oriented hotel. My first port of call when visiting London would be to contact Lewis & Teresa. The hotel is centrally positioned for most visitors...

Had a most comfortable stay in this delightful little boutique hotel well placed for theatres and museums. We had the ground floor bedroom- recently refurbished- small but full of character and a quiet view over the small garden. The staff could not be more welcoming and helpful and the breakfast was excellent and good value. My art loving hubby was...

I very much enjoyed my stay at the Arosfa. I had a refurbished room which was relaly lovely with nice pics and a very fancy bathroom. It was very small but that's normal in this part of London. Breakfast was great, including a hot breakfast and a big range of cereals, fruit, yoghurts, cheese, cake etc. Both of the owners...

Luis and Theresa and their staff treat you like family! Luis made eggs Benedict - entirely off menu from the standard English breakfast offered by the hotel - for my Dad each morning. He also packed a sack lunch for us upon departure. The hotel is about a block and a half from the Goodge Street tube station. The British...

Staying in Bloomsbury

Neighbourhood Profile
Bloomsbury
Snuggly nestled within Central London is academic and leafy Bloomsbury, an area that boasts walking distance access to many of London's most popular attractions. It is also home to some of Britain's most celebrated museums, including the must-see British Museum. Despite an understandable popularity with students, tourists and day trippers, vast sections of Bloomsbury retain a quiet, residential feel year round and throughout the week.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The Arosfa Hotel is a refurbished 200-year old Georgian Town House in the heart of historic Bloomsbury district, the former home of the famous Pre-Raphaelite artist Sir John Everett Millais. The cool white garden squares and wide streets of Bloomsbury have been a pull to thinkers for centuries, and it sometimes seems like every second house has a blue plaque denoting that a great writer, scientist or philosopher once inhabited the building. It was in Bloomsbury that Karl Marx created communism, Virginia Woolf defined the twentieth century British novel, and Charles Darwin first conceived the theory of natural selection. The imposing bulk of the British Museum, home to seven millennia of human art and artefacts, dominates the area, and there are plenty of other academic institutions including Birkbeck College, the beautiful University of London Library, and RADA, London's grandest drama school. ... more   less
