A number of the people at the front desk are rude and have no desire to be helpful. On the other hand, you have a few who really care. Bar staff is friendly. Restaurant staff is horrible. Housekeeping is hit or miss. We were awoke at 8:30 AM by housekeeping wanting to clean our room!!!! The hotel is beautiful. But...

Great room, great view from room. Enjoyed being on level 9. Comfortable access to spa and continental breakfast. We spent 45 minutes in the spa which was very nice. This hotel had great customer service skills even stored our luggage both at the start and end of our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel as its close enough to...

This is the second time we have stayed here, but on this visit we were disappointed with the housekeeping. We had been our for the day and returned at 5pm and expected our room to be ready (clean towels etc) so that we could prepare for a night out at the theatre. Unfortunately the room was not ready; the excuse...

From the moment we arrived at the hotel, they treated us so courteously and could not do enough for us. We had a fantastic room with a view of The Shard. Housekeeping were like elves, we never saw them but the room was tidied and perfect in no time at all. It may have been quieter than normal as we...

Mini bar feature which gets activated when you remove any drinks from it was totally a sneaky way to charge . Apart from this feature , the room was reasonable big and stuff was friendly . Room cleaner did not speak English which was a bit weird . It's fine by me but made me question low rate international labouring...

The Grange Tower Bridge is an excellent hotel, with all you need. The staff is very well educated and attentious. The spa is complete, with free pool, sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and gym, all new, and working well. The location is where London began, 5 minutes from the London Tower and the Tower Bridge. For good restaurants, you have St....

Fantastic modern hotel. All very clean and modern. Impressed with the room size too. Situated near to tower bridge, 5 minutes walk from nearest tube station (Tower Hill) St Katherine's Dock is nearby and full of bars and restaurants, really worth a visit!

We had a warm welcome. Friendly staff, spacious and clean room, Good selection of breakfast, Nice shower really gives the touch of luxury. Had a great stay here with an eleven month old. We even got a free upgrade to Executive room for which we are thankful. Only thing which bothered us a bit was pool water temperature. It was...

Very nice hotel, perfect for businessmen to stay for 2 to 3 nights. Rooms very well equipped and spacious. Excellent beds. The Spa and gym are a welcome amenity for stayers! Super friendly staff. Restaurant and bar are up for creating more atmosphere, to distant and un-cosy.

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
