As a solo traveller I visited London to do some shopping / sight seeing and to have some relaxation time. I previously stayed at Leonardo London City, so thought on this occasion I’d try London Tower Bridge instead. This one seems slightly further away from Tower Bridge, but I think it is a bit larger and I’ve heard they’ve owned this one for longer. All the staff that I spoke to were very friendly and helpful. The room was better than London City (more space, and better bathroom). The bedroom (executive king, booked with secret escaped - recommended) featured a very comfortable bed, large television, adjustable room lighting, full length window (although no real view), and kettle with complements including tea and biscuits. Iron. The bathroom had a separate power shower with lots of jets! Plus a bath with additional shower, large sink and toilet. Complimentary shampoos. Plenty of large Towels were provided. One tiny complaint would be the towels could be more luxury as they were quite thin! Plus the Tv remote didn’t always work from the bed (I told the housekeeper about this). Tip - ask for a room at the far end of the hotel as these are served by the less used elevators meaning less wait time, plus also this part of the hotel is quieter. The scenic lifts are nice and kept well clean. The staff do a great job of cleaning the public areas and the rooms. They were always mopping up the floors. There is a wonderful leisure centre, better than the London city hotel, 25 meter swimming pool, including foot jacuzzi and sauna, steam room and large jacuzzi. Staff in the leisure centre were very friendly too. Lockers provided, large changing area with decent showers plus swimwear dryer too. As for the breakfast, this was exceptional. Although I think the London city has more choice (juice, pastry etc), there is lots to choose from, well organised and always topped up. Hot breakfast buffet, plus chef for eggs. One thing I would say is the staff do clear up quick, so as a solo traveller I’d often find the table cleared when i had gone up to just get some juice! The bar choice was not as good as in the Leonardo city, plus service charge added to bill even on simply one small glass bottle of diet coke. No Malibu or similar. I guess the lack of choice explains why the bar was empty of guests. I found it better to shop in the Tesco around the corner than use the on site hotel shop for snacks / drinks as this was a lot cheaper. The on site shop was provided due to the mini bar in room being closed. Close to Tower Gateway DLR, and Tower Hill tube station. Short walk to Tower bridge and HMS Belfast (plus lots of restaurants in this area too). I work within hospitality, and I understand the pressures especially around covid. But the staff do deserve praise! They are doing great. Overall I had a great stay! Highly recommend this hotel. Will definitely be back at some point in the future when I fancy another relaxing break.

One of the few hotels that offer 2 double beds for a family of four. We enjoyed our time here. Great views of the city skyscrapers and beautiful and spacious rooms. Nice concierge service for luggage storage and for picking up your Day 2 arrival COVID tests. The only issue was that the water leaked outside of the shower because the door couldn't be shut tightly. It seems like there's a lot of corporate events that happen at this hotel so it can get crowded in the lobbies during the evenings.

We stayed here a couple of months ago and we have enjoyed our stay! It was my friend's birthday and the room has been decorated as a nice surprise. Reception, concierge and duty managers all very lovely, special thank you to Leroy who has helped with everything and anything - he is very knowledgeable and nothing is too much trouble. The housekeeping team is very nice, the rooms clean and with great views. The experience was a bit of a letdown in the evening in the bar/restaurant area, staff not very welcoming or open for a conversation, no real knowledge about services provided, 3 different team members answered the same question 3 different ways. However, the breakfast team has been absolutely amazing and quite the opposite, very engaging, customer-focused, and polite. Signage to the hotel could be improved but it might be due to the work in progress at the time. We look forward to our next visit.

Good Morning GeorgieR17, Thank you for staying at Leonardo Royal Hotel London Tower Bridge and for leaving a review. We’re so delighted to read that your stay was up to the expectations you had in the past, and that you had thoroughly enjoyed your stay. We also are very happy to hear that you found the rooms to be clean and nicely decorated, as well as you enjoyed the breakfast. Meanwhile, we're shocked and disappointed to learn that the issue regarding the restaurant staff impacted more than one of our guests and, as a matter of greatest urgency, have passed this feedback directly onto the senior management team. We look forward to welcoming you back to Jurys Inns and Leonardo hotels in the future. Kind Regards Wendy Customer Experience Team
