I read somewhere that this hotel is a 5 star, well it's not. I stayed for 3 nights recently and the only good part to my stay was the fact that concierge were able to provide me with a charger I forgot to pack. Reception took a while to check in as they couldn't understand billing instructions, we experienced the...

We stayed here three years ago, at the time we weren't overly enamoured with the hotel. But we liked the location at the time, so we decided to try again. Glad we did, again the hotel lived up to it's star rating as regards staff and cleanliness. Breakfast was a smorgasbord of choice. A great start to the day. Our...

We've stayed at this hotel twice now and both times the hotel has made our stay the most enjoyable. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern and we had lovely view of the shard and Tower Bridge both times that we stayed. It has a lovely spa area which you can enjoy complimentary and the breakfast has plenty of choice.

Good quality hotel for a weekend break in central London. It is very near Tower Bridge so a short stroll from the hotel takes you to a beautiful historic London landmark. If you don't want to have breakfast at the hotel Weatherspoon is just next to the hotel serving breakfast etc. There are also many eateries nearby along the river. The...

Stayed here on a corporate night. What a great place to find. Team we're so friendly and accommodating. Spa and pool really nice and the pool was open from 6am. Had dinner in the restaurant, well presented and very appetising. Had the asparagus with soft poached duck egg and pancetta, loved it. Just had a second starter as the main...

Second time staying here on business - still good. Rooms are clean albeit amenities could be lacking, have to call for dental kits and slippers for example. Staff is good too. Locate between Aldgate and Tower Hill metro stations so easy to get around. About 15 min walk to Shoreditch where you can find plenty of nice restaurants and boutiques.

I'm staying at the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel while traveling for business. I'm not familiar with the process for reviewing and awarding a hotel like this, its five stars, but clearly it doesn't take into account, the bedding Now granted, I'm having to double up rooms and so our room has, rather than one or two luxurious queen or king...

We arrived at the hotel, and the staff were extremely accommodating. The hotel looked clean, and really well designed. It was our 6 year anniversary and I asked in a side note if there was anything nice to leave for my girlfriend in the room, that it would be great! When we entered the room, we found towels in a...

We booked this via Last Minute Secret Hotels and was very pleased with the value for money we received (£89 for the night in a four star, centrally located hotel). We were able to check in at around 12noon, I had emailed to ask for a room with a good view and was given Room 1208 which looked out over...

It's quite new so everything is in good condition and the furniture is high quality. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The spa/pool looked nice but was so crowded that I chose not to use them - I'd suggest avoiding a weekend if you want peace and quiet. The number of guests also over taxed the two lifts meaning there...

Staying in Whitechapel

Neighbourhood Profile
Whitechapel
Whether you're here for its dynamic street life, world class galleries or famed curry houses, you're bound to be wowed by the uniquely cosmopolitan flavor of Whitechapel. Long gone are the days when Jack the Ripper stalked its streets. And despite his mysterious legacy bringing throngs of curiosity driven tour groups to its back alleys and otherwise serene garden squares, these days you're more likely to catch a cutting edge fashionista scurrying through its age old lanes than criminals of any sort.
