This hotel exceeded my expectations with a fairly easy on line booking process, great value for money considering the room spec and location. Would consider staying again.

Clean, comfortable, modern. Why do hotels want to charge an extra GBP20 for Internet access? Free use of the lobby PC for 15-20 minutes is not what a business travel or family with kids wants or needs. Why is it an extra charge? As if the marginal cost of providing the service could be any more than 10p. I ask...

Clean & Comfortable and 1 minute from Tower Bridge underground station, 5 min from London Tower and its ice rink. Service was irreprochable, the hotel felt quiet and breakfast was great. One of the only hotels who offer a room for 3 at a reasonable price. My only gripe is thay you will have to paye a £25.00 package including...

Excellent location right by the Tower. Surprisingly large room given the central london location. Got an excellent rate via laterooms.

Sadly a dissappointing stay and no way of getting room service for drinks and food. Very expensive stay for what might have been better for £5 pounds more to go across the road to the Mint hotel or for alittle bit more the grange. Novotel is not a 4 star hotel, it just in a 4 star location. Stay some...

I am on a business trip to the UK and I am shocked that I can't understand anything the front desk is saying and vise versus. For a country that King's English is perfected it is more than frustrating to have hotel staff that can't communicate. I could not get the staff to help me find a place to eat...

My husband and I have stayed here on several occassions, its really lovely hotel with beautiful rooms and very comfy beds which is what I have come to expect from Novotel. Booked a two night stay here at the beginning of December. It's a Novotel, so I was pretty aware of what to expect. Bright airy reception, clean with smiling staff to welcome you. Room-standard Novotel room. Clean and serviced! Location-excellent. Less than five minute walk to Tower Bridge tube station. Value for money- given the fact it is slap bang...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
