We really enjoyed our stay at the JW Grovesnor Hotel, London. The Hotel P.R. was kind to make sure that my mail was waiting for me in my room when we checked in and everything went smoothly. (A sign of good service!) Tea in the main lounge is a treat and the new Executive concierge lounge is also extremely nice....

We made the mistake of thinking the Hyde Park tube station was the closest. Double the walk from the Marble Arch station. Very nice lounge area. Steakhouse was good and reasonable. Beds were soft. Shower a bit cramped and had odd controls with faucets and handles and separate nozzle things to this American.

I have visited this Marriott Hotel for the second year in December. The hotel is fantastic, location is excellent, you are walking distance from Oxford Street. Rooms are big enough, old fashioned, but very classy high style and clean. Service is excellent. I was there for a work meeting. I recommend this hotel

Just returned from a stay at this wonderful hotel whilst having a break with friends from another part of the UK. They did the booking so I can't comment on what the level of room was but I assume it was standard. Room was on 2nd floor and was large with all the amenities you need from a hotel of...

We stayed at the Grovesnor Hotel, London after my mother saw an ad in a travel magazine. Even with the reservations system being upgraded during our check-in the staff made sure our room was ready for our arrival! We had a lovely executive room with access to the business lounge. Since we were on vacation we avoided the early morning...

Stayed here whilst attending the railway ball. Cracking room - old fashioned style; classy and stylish. Everything worked perfectly and it was very comfortable. Of course it is expensive - but what do you expect on Park Lane in London. If someone else is paying - give it a go.

I recently stayed at Grosvenor House with 2 children and the staff really went out of their way to be kind to the children, especially given that the environment is not exactly kid friendly (its probably too fancy to recommend bringing kids here unless they are extremely quiet, well-behaved and neat!!). The staff in the Executive Lounge always greeted the...

I stayed at the Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel on the night of the Health Services Journal awards. As a finalist we were expected to book a seat at a table in case we won, and we also decided to stay overnight at the venue. The costs were incredible. £280-320 per seat at the HSJ Dinner, for what: A small ring...

Thank you for your review here on Trip Advisor. I sincerely appreciate your feedback and I am sorry to hear that you found our pricing structure not to the level you were hoping. I must reassure you that we are constantly reviewing our pricing structures and must note that we are well in line with other hotels in the Park...

I recently attended an event being held in the banqueting suite. The surroundings were very plush, as one would expect. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. The food was amazing. The only thing that let it down were the toilets and the cloakroom, which were down steep flights of stairs, and which became a rather confused queue for collecting...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
