I stayed here as part of a nearby conference and my room was booked by the organisers. It's well located and handy to public transport. The front desk could not find my reservation when I arrived, so there was quite a bit of phoning the conference organisers to confirm, which involved waiting around after an intercontinental flight. The room was...

Dear Koala2477, Thank you for writing a review of your stay with us. Please accept our apologies for any delays at check in. Unfortunately without more information I would not be able to investigate what the issue was. I am sorry that you were disturbed by noise from the corridor and other rooms. We would be grateful to have another...

Several years since we had stayed here and I got the impression there had been some modernisation since the previous visit. Hotel is well located in the street off the road behind Debenhams. Check in was quick, as was check out. We had room 495, at the end of a corridor. Reasonable size, large comfortable bed. The bathroom had walk...

Dear Travellerpoland2, Thank you for your feedback and for being return guests. I am pleased that you enjoy our central location and that you were overall happy with your room. I will ask maintenance to review the central heating as when its on it can be adjusted on the radiator. The thermostat on the wall is the air-conditioning only and...

I was so disappointed about this hotel. The only good thing is the location, the hotel is only a few blocks from oxford street which is extremely convenient however the service is really bad. I stayed at this hotel only one night, I arrived and I had to wait for someone to help with the luggages. Finally someone came to...

We chose to stay again in the hotel for its premium location. However, our room was much smaller than the previous one as well as the bathroom. We chose to have the breakfast buffet and it was good against its price. Although not a lot of choices to choose from.

The hotel's location is key, absolutly dead-center of London! The nearest tube station is Bond Street which is on the Central and Jubilee lines, both key to travel in and out of the City. Right next to Oxford Street for all the shopping fanatics and also close to Marylebone High Street for the quiet-seeking tourists. The acommodation was good, they...

The hotel is in a perfect location. Only a few minutes walk to Oxford street and the tube stations. Perfect for the theatre only 20 min walk away. The room was nice and large, the problem was it needed a bit of TLC for it, wallpaper had been knocked off the wall. Needed generally tidying up. Never had a meal...

Very good, staff were friendly, breakfast was average with a wide range of foods (European to English), rooms were comfortable with lots of space and the room had good facility's, also it was very cheap for the room.

The facade and the lobby would suggest the hotel is well-appointed, however, once past reception the hotel is tired and in poor repair. The rooms are small, poorly fitted and in need of updating. The first room was damp and the reception staff kindly gave us another room. Sadly, this was cold and house keeping took over an hour to...

Dear christian L, Firstly thank you for staying with us recently and for being a member of IHG Rewards Club. We always stay in IGH hotels being members. The hotel looks the part and in a great location but the room it self was shocking. What we were expecting was a nice sized room, but it was like a box room. There was a constant tapping noise which was coming from the ceiling. Rang reception to which they apologised and...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
