Read the reviews but decided to give the hotel a chance. Staff were pleasant and helpful but the state of the room was appalling. I had to leave after I found a dead cockroach in the bathroom as this is completely unacceptable especially as the hotel rates itself as 3 star but the staff on reception were nice I have...

Myself and my boyfriend stayed here for 4 nights 13-17th November. We arrived at the bayswater underground station and could immediately see the hotel so we were thrilled at how close we were! When we went in the lobby was clean nicely decorated and we were greeted by a friendly receptionist who promptly checked us in. The hallways were narrow...

The hotel has pros and some cons. The cons wouldnt bother me as much if I knew about them coming in to it so here it is with the Pros first: Pros: LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION. Located 10 minutes walk from Kensington Palace, 3 minutes walk to the Circulator underground and the Central Underground (Bayswater and Queensway stations) and surrounded by...

A great place to have our Malaysian friends to stay over with a very central location in the heart of London. Easy access to tube station and walks to Hyde Park etc.. Value for money and service. Rooms are small but very clean.

The location is very good, but limited water from the shower, small room and the sink is built weird (you can not even put the cups on sink because it is not build straight). Therefore if you can get a better room adding 10〜20 pound i recommend you to stay somewhere else to enjoy your trip to LONDON!

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
