It is a huge hotel, well located close to Oxford St with a super friendly staff, in special Theano (Front of House Team Leader) and concierge are wonderful professionals. Amazing breakfast, lots of option. However, elevators are old and busy.

We stayed here for one night stay in London, it was suitable because of the location but the hotel was more on the lower range of a 4* hotel. The location is good if you want to stay near Oxford street and the night rate was okay, but it is just an okay hotel, nothing special.

Huge hotel, clean and comfortable- gets the basics right but nothing at all special; felt like a TravelLodge. Decent breakfast. Location is excellent for Paddington Train Station and if you want to be near Marble Arch/Mayfair. Would stay again (on business) but not a romantic option!

Right by Marble Arch, by Hyde Park and on the start of Oxford street. Well situated! Near the underground and busses. Good rooms, nice personel. If you want to live close up to everything - this is a good place to choose.

3 nights at the Cumberland, it's a very popular hotel with really good access to Oxford Street and Marble Arch underground. Hotel serves Halal food, which is to be expected as it has a large number of middle eastern clientele. The rooms were cosy albeit, everything was clean and comfortable, pillows a little soft for my liking. The hotel has...

Many of the staff seem aloof and disinterested. When trying to put food on my room I was unable to as I hadn't provided a card for authorisation. Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
