Room 203, Stayed 5 nights. Roomy, well equiped, neat and clean. No street or hotel noise, very quiet. Great location very near bus, tube and supermarket with good range and fresh produce/deli. All staff were pleasant, courteous and helpful. Lift worked well. Clean and well equipped laundry. Good security.

I've been staying at this residential hotel on Gloucester Road since 2009, and find it hard to stay anywhere else in London, even at the Citadines. The hotel offers small apartments with little kitchens, and is just a step away from Partridges upscale grocery store. It is a five minute walk to the Gloucester Road tube station and there are...

Citadines South Kensington was perfect for us. Beautiful location surrounded by lovely architecture and gardens. Five minute walk to the tube and several grocery stores. So convenient, yet quiet. No problems with street noise while sleeping. Of all the London Citadines, I would choose this location. So pretty. The handy Underground makes it close to everything. Do walk to the...

The apartment was really nice and clean. The reception employees were very kind and helpful. The coffee/tea machine in the main entrance is a really good idea to have rest in the lounge. The localisation on Gloucester Road is perfect: safe, clean, nice and not far from Hide Park. A lot of restaurants and bar around which are really good

I liked this hotel a lot! It's centrally location 5 mins from a major tube station. The Picadilly line takes you directly from the Heathrow airport to the tube stop. Kensington park is very near and it's a quiet, clean, safe neighbrohood very near to all of the London attractions. It's clean and the kitchen has everything that one may...

We would have stayed somewhere else had it been just me and my husband but we traveled with our 18-month old and needed a separate sleep area as well as a kitchen. Citadines South Kensington fit the bill. All of the kitchen appliances worked just fine. The couch was a bit of a disappointment - it's a pull out/sofa bed,...

The location was fantastic. Many amenities nearby and very quiet neighbourhood. Supermarkets and neighbourhood shops are plenty and are also open until late evening. Plenty of restaurants nearby. 2 minute walk to Gloucester Rd tube station on the Piccadilly and District Circle lines. Check in was lacking. Sent Email requesting early check in- arrived in London after a 24 hour...

Such a great location and neighborhood. Staff here is super friendly and helpful. Had some challenge with the Wifi which they quickly resolved for us. We stayed in the 1-bedroom suite which was very clean and had great kitchenette we found useful. Wonderful shoppes and restaurants nearby with a Starbucks on the same block.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
