Very clean and in a quiet location! Easy access to the Underground with several stations to choose from. The lady at reception is very friendly and helpful however she is only available from 0800 to 1700 hours. In order to obtain our room key outside of those hours, we needed to go next door to their sister hotel Phoenix Hotel.... More

I booked a single room with private facilities for 2 nights 21 and 22 june 2016 and was p[easantly surprized to be told that I was allocated a double room. I had no fault to find with the accommodation or the very helpful receptionist who was on duty from 0800hrs to 1700hrs. The breakfast, which was plentiful and of good... More

Comfortable bed, clean room and pretty quiet. Only downer was finding it for the first time - was a bit of a mission. Now that I know where it is, I would definitely stay again due to value for money, cleanliness and lovely staff/ 24 hour reception. After 5pm, you had to check in at the hotel next door, and... I had the chance to return last week to the hotel. While they've definitely upgraded the facilities since my last visit, giving the hotel a much more chic look, the same friendliness and cleanliness remains. The location is excellent and this time I walked over to the Portobello Road Market on Saturday morning, in addition to wandering around the brand-new... More

A lovely room overlooking the Square Gardens.A tranquil location yet minutes from the restaurants and pubs and shops of Queensway. Lots of interesting places nearby, a short walk to the tube, or a walk to Oxford St. Friendly staff.Highly recommended and great value for the quality and location.

We've just returned from a one night stay at Kensington Gardens Hotel and wouldn't hesitate recommending it to anyone (unless you have a problem with stairs). It is located within a few minutes walk of at least 2 tube stations and plenty of food outlets and shops at the end of the road. The decor is welcoming, modern and feels... More

We stayed at the Kensington Gardens Hotel for a four night stay after looking for bargain deals on Trip Advisor. The hotel was housed in a small block of flats partnered with the larger Phoenix Hotel next door. Our room was compact, but perfect for our needs and immaculately clean. The room service was excellent as was the pleasant reception... More

Staying in Notting Hill

Neighbourhood Profile
Notting Hill
As West London's friskiest corner, Notting Hill more than manages to retain plenty of the same appeal that's brought the affluent area so much worldwide attention. In this attractive cobblestoned neighbourhood, a delectable variety of eateries, independent shops, galleries and street vendors offer a delightful window into how to live the good life in London, with each presenting visitors with an experience that's a little more idiosyncratic and endearing than the last. Travelers looking to forage for antiques should be sure to visit the Portobello Road Market on Saturdays, the largest antiques market in the United Kingdom.
