I have just spent a week at this hotel and cannot praise it enough. Where to begin??!! Check-in was effortless with our bags brought to our room by the porter. Lovely friendly staff at the Reception Desk. Our room was lovely. Massive bed (apparently 2 singles put together but we could not tell) with a good sized wardrobe, drawers a...

Stayed at this hotel for 1 night on 3rd February whilst attending a business conference at Olympia London. The hotel was small and cramped but I managed for one night. I was unable to walk around the bed and the bathroom is tiny. This hotel is situated in a good location close to Kensignton High Street.

I stayed here last weekend for 2 nights. The hotel is in a great location situated a 2 minute walk from the nearest tube station (Kensington high street). Nearby there is a cute little teashop called The muffin break (I think). The lobby to the hotel is impressive and the staff can't do enough for you. I was disappointed that...

Adequate hotel with friendly staff and decent size rooms. They were also kind enough to upgrade our room as it was our honey moon. Pool was refreshing and the location for West London is brilliant. What you expect from a four Star hotel.

I used to run a lot of events at this hotel when I was working in London many moons ago so I was looking forward to staying here for 10 days this time. I was changed or a standard room the first night but the bathroom fan was very noisy and took half an hour to stop automatically after each...

The title says it all. An impressive, quality hotel that provides for all your needs. I was upgraded from a single to a twin with sparkling en suite and once my tired brain had figured out the shower was good to go. I didn't use the bar but when I returned from dinner with a friend it was busy and...

I stayed at Kensington Close Hotel during 21 - 28/8/2016. It's a very nice hotel with comfortable and reasonably sized rooms. The staff are really amazing, always smiling and willing to give advice, They are truly very helpful :) It's a 3 minutes walk from the underground station and very close to many shops like M&S, GAP, H&M, Mossimo Dutt...etc...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
