We stayed here for 4 nights In August. The rooms are clean, comfortable & average size. Bathrooms slightly pokey but that is standard for UK/Europe. Hotel staff were all very helpful. Breakfast was lovely, with a nice range of pastries, cereals etc. you can also order from the menu & pay for eggs etc. fantastic location, across from Hyde Park...... More

I have stayed at this hotel on three occasions now and always found it to be very good. The staff are friendly and always helpful. The rooms are comfortable and breakfast is of good quality and substantial. I would recommend it.

Nice hotel for a business trip, but rooms are small. Beds are comfortible, bathroom clean and ok. Lot of Harry Potter like stairs. Very quiet hotel in really good neighbourhood .Few minutes by car to the City center. Lot of shops in the area, even a few nice pubs just a walk away. Ok price.

Chose this hotel because we wanted to go to some Prom concerts. Ideal location, 10 mins. walk from both Albert Hall and High St. Kensington tube station. Hotel about 100 yards down a side street from Kensington road, so some traffic noise from latter, but not excessive. Hotel decor bright & cheerful and spotlessly clean. Our double room was quite... Pro's: Almost opposite Kensington gardens so great location. Staff is friendly. Rooms aren't very big but they're clean and contain everything you need. Con's: the doors tend to slam shut (not a great way to be woken up). Building works opposite are also rather noisy. WiFi ridiculously slow.

Very good hotel for short stay, room was very very tiny however everything was in it. I can say that this is small, family, quiet hotel in good location with no extraordinaries. Very close to kensington gardens, which was good because we could go running before or after meetings.

Stayed two nights as I had some birthday treats in London. Good location near shops, transport and especially the Royal Albert Hall. Stayed on second floor, very quiet. Yes the rooms are small but perfectly suited our needs. TV is fine, got a WiFi code (after 10pm) very easily. Breakfast was good as it encouraged me not to have the... More

Great location no doubts on that front. Booked for 1 night for a business meet. Most reviews say clean well perhaps I had a bad room. Plenty of hairs in the shower but not mine. The ironing board was broken, reception never answered the phone despite numerous calls (just after 10pm) to get the Wifi password. So first impression? Not... More

Great location and a staff who bends over backwards to make one feel at home. Mr. Antonio Sola, the manager, provides personal attention to each and every guest. He is a PRINCE! My rooms have always been immaculately clean, both single and double (have stayed here 3-4 times, and can't wait to return!)

Stayed overnight bank holiday weekend. Great location 5 minutes walk into Kensington High Street, 10 minutes walk to the Albert Hall. Hotel is small but is comfortable, serves a good breakfast. It's in a quiet side street away from traffic so you do get a good night's sleep.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
