once again another excellent stay at this hotel. we really cant fault anything , except ,perhaps, we went down for breakfast one morning and there was a party of young people sitting round a table actually making ham sandwiches, presumably for their lunch , we thought that this was very rude and perhaps the management should have mentioned something to...

Return visit to the Lancaster Gate showed it is still a very good experience, a disappointment for a three person room was that only three teabags were provided which meant that after an evening drink there were none for the best time of the day,the pre-breakfast,we thought it was a staff error on the first day but same thing happened...

After a 3 hour delay in Singapore and a 13 hour 'overnight' flight from Singapore we arrived at Heathrow to the coldest March Uk have had in 50 years with temperature around 0C and biting wind !! We took tube to Lancaster Gate and found later that Queensway much closer. We were very very tired, cold and hungry. Reception staff...

A good hotel, room was fairly basic but clean. The only downside was the mattress which was very thin and the small single pillow was also thin and very small. Didnt use any facilities but looked good. The staff are very friendly and efficient. Excellent location and good value - just the bed that was a disappointment

I stayed at the Lancaster Gate for a London sightseeing weekend and can honestly say it was clean, comfortable and very good value for money. The rooms have most things you could wish for and the self-service breakfast meant you could have as much or as little as you pleased. We picked one of the most bitterly cold weekends of...

Stayed at the Lancaster Gate hotel for a week in March while visiting London. Had booked through Gate1 Travel as part of a package deal. Everything was perfect, the room and bathroom were clean and comfortable, breakfast was included through our booking and including a buffet with a full english breakfast and an assortment of fruit, yogurt and cereals. The...

Stayed here for business for only one night. The receptionist forgot to tell me that the room cards had been printed upside down so my key did not work. I had gone up in the lift to the first floor, up two steps along a corridor, through a door and down 3 steps then up about 8 steps through another...

everything in this hotel is first rate except that you need to know that there are no bellmen to carry luggage and there steps in the interior of the hotel which need to be negotiated with luggage and of course if one is handicapped. Some rooms can be accessed without extra steps to climb or decend so ask about that.

Stayed overnight on the 5th March as part of a theatre booking we had organised, rather than traveling home: It was our second visit, having been impressed on our first stay in January when we had attended the Royal Albert Hall to see Cirque de Soleil. We choose the hotel for the excellent location and its closeness to the theatre...

We went to London with 2 adults and 2 teens. We had two rooms at the hotel. When we arrived jet lagged at 10:15 am after an all night flight we were unable to check into our room until 3pm. I realize that this is most hotels policy but it was a bit difficult. They checked our luggage and we...
