Less than 5 min walk to circle line Gloucester road station. 10 min walk to Natural Museum (must visit, a modern Science Museum) and 20 min walk to Harrods. We have been to London many times but the hotel we stayed before is either far from the Tube station or far out of the Center. So this time I spent...

We stayed in this hotel for 5 nights over the last week of August, and could not have asked for better value. Staff were courteous and polite, and location was great - just 2 minutes to Gloucester Road tube station. Rooms are decently sized for a London hotel - we had 2 rooms on the 6th floor and could not...

This was our first stay after an overseas flight to London, and it was very enjoyable. The room was a decent size for London standards, and the fact that a family of 4 could be comfortably accommodated, makes this hotel a great choice. The location could not be better. The tube was right across the street, and lots of great...

We only stayed for one night with our two children, however the room, service and staff were excellent and could not fault anything about it. Location also fantastic 2 mins to the tube station and 5 minute walk from Natural History Museum. The hotel also had a lovely garden to sit out in.

This place was amazing! The room was spacious enough for my family of 4 with older children. The staff was helpful and went out of their way to insure we were accommodiated in every way possible. The concierge was amazing, everything he recommended was excellent. Steps away from the bus and metro, the area is full of restaurants and shopping....

The hotel was great - clean, comfortable beds, mini-balcony you can open the doors from, lovely garden area to hang out in and great staff. The club room was fantastic with computers, selection of fruit, breakfast meats, cheeses, yogurts, eggs and croissants plus a happy hour too. Location couldn't be better for jumping on the tube 1 block away. 2...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
