Great Hotel......Staff great...layout great...food very good.... 1 lift was out of order, and then the second one broke on the Saturday night so had to use stairs to 5th floor....that was a proper pain in the ***, but the staff couldn't have been more helpful. it was fixed by the morning.

I travel to London on Business most weeks and always try to stay at the Marriott in Kensington. It checks all of the boxes in terms of location, accessibility, price, comfort, amenities for a business traveler etc but the part I appreciate the most are the staff who just make me feel welcome, help take the stress out of business...

My first time staying at this property. Turned out to be a great location for my needs. A quick walk to the "Tube", or easy access by taxi. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Normally I always get to use the Gym, but was unable this time, but understand clients have the use of the gym next door (attached...

Nice hotel, great location. Shame about the restaurant not being open on Sunday evening but other than that absolutely perfect hotel. Will be returning at some point in the future. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. Car park a little small.

Overall good, and definitely better than 'aveage'. The public spaces are stylish, and from what I experienced, the business facilities are great. The on-site restaurant food is to a good standard, and all the staff are friendly and very helpful. For those looking for a good standard of hotel pretty much in the middle of London this should fit the...

Spent a weekend here while in London on business and had a mediocre time. The hotel needs a lot of updating. The professional pics take a lot of liberty with reality. The rooms are old, out of date, worn down. The bathrooms are very old and need a complete updating. The hotel is clean, but the carpets look worn out...

We stayed at the London Marriott Hotel Kensington between Christmas and New Years (2016). While I can't say the hotel stay ruined our vacation, it certainly didn't add to the experience. In fairness, I would have rated the property an even 0 (zero) were it not for some really good individual contributors at the concierge desk, working behind the bar...

We stayed here again in December 2016, and February 2017. The hotel is five minutes walk from tube station ( Piccadilly Line) and walking distance to Victoria and Albert, and Natural History Museums, Knightsbridge, Royal Albert Hall, and High Street Kennsington. All of above are a Five pound taxi drive away. The hotel is classy, comfortable, and excellent value for...

We made this hotel our home base for a weekend of activities surrounding London and Premier League Football. Easy 40 min ride on tube to Earl's Court station and 2 block walk to hotel. For 4 days we found it very convenient to visiting Stamford Bridge / The Emirates Stadium and everything else London has to offer. Short walk to...

I recently attended a course at the hotel and was very impressed. Meeting room lighting was good, seating arrangements excellent and hospitality very good. Loved the Fentimans soft drinks, and the freshly baked cookies were a nice touch. Fresh fruit offered, cucumber & orange infused fresh water ( as well as bottled) and a decent coffee machine ( slight gripe,...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
