The Marriott’s location on Grosvenor Square is beautiful. Many of the rooms overlook the park and the statue of Franklin Delano Roosevelt. The neighborhood is surprisingly quiet (by London standards). You won’t see and hear the heavy, slow-moving traffic of some other areas. The facility is very well maintained, everything is spotless. The rooms do not show signs of wear....

We had an excellent stay at this hotel. The front area was fully staffed with both concierges and bell hops to provide full service. The rooms were clean and the hotel restaurant/bar was very trendy. Safe area to stay in.

Cannot beat the location and the friendly staff. I hadn't stayed here for years so was pleased to see the upgraded rooms as well. The only bad news was the AC in the room seemed unable to move the temperature which left the room hot and stuffy and the air very dry. If we had been staying more than 2...

This hotel is fantastic- we had a terrific week long stay with them in mid February. The location is perfect. Extremely close to the Tube, across the street from Selfridges, and walking distance to dozens of great restaurants. The hotel itself looks great- it's classically styled. The lobby isn't huge, but it's comfortable. We upgraded to a suite and it...

The location is amazing! Staff is very accommodating, they were kind enough to accommodate a room change for bed type and then a second for an upgrade to a quieter room. Make reservations if you want to go to the restaurant, they are very busy!

Quite friendly hotel, room was very much similar to what I selected though view was terrible and being on sixth floor noise of motors or machines was audible. Generally hotel staff were willing and friendly. Executive lounge is beautifully set in family atmosphere and lounge staff are well trained and very helpful.

Recently had a one night stay at the hotel for a friends birthday. On arrival we were greeted in the lobby by Sarah C from guest relations who was very welcoming and knowledgeable when we asked her for nice places to eat and drink in the area. We ended up going to one of the bars she mentioned and had...

Booked a 1-night stay because of the location and the hotel brand. Genuine 5-star service and facilities. A bit of a slip-up though - the bath gel in tube was half-full but not a big issue as everything else was taken care of. Memorable stay to come back for!

We recently stayed for 3 nights here, and had a pleasant visit. For the price and location, this hotel is a solid win. Steps away from Oxford St and the Bond tube station, it was so simple to get around and enjoy London. The staff was courteous and professional. This hotel has one of the best executive lounges of all...

Staying in Mayfair

Neighbourhood Profile
Mayfair
Set beside some of London's best parks and home to world-class galleries, luxurious hotels, and famed thoroughfares, the ultra upscale Mayfair is one of London's most exclusive haunts. Here the shopping is haute, the dining is exquisite, and the nightlife is vibrant. A casual stroll through the area’s chic streets will reveal that Michelin stars and chauffeured cars are practically the norm here. Even if you're on a tight budget, this exceptionally well connected swath of Central London is worth exploring, if only for the chance to take a peak at the goings on of upper crust English society.
