Absolutely a great hotel to stay, friendly staff, who were most helpful. This trip was to celebrate my husbands 40th birthday, our room had balloons, cake, and chocolates on arrival, all my expectations were exceeded! We also received a free room upgrade! Would recommend to any traveller wanting a great location and warm comfortable stay, we will be back! Many...

The last time we were in London we stayed at the corinthia and paid mega bucks. We knew this hotel wouldn't be up to their standard but was pleasantly surprised. I have to say this place is up there with the top 10 on trip advisor and the staff do their very best to be as helpful and courteous as...

I chose this hotel based on price/location. It is extremely central--piccadillly circus, oxford circus etc all just a few minutes away. I arrived early and was given my room, which was nice as I had flown all night before. Everything was comfortable, and the staff was kind. I did not use the restaurant (although I did drink the prosecco offered...

We stayed here for one night as we were going to the Queen's Theatre which is very close by. We had an accessible room, which was just big enough to manoeuvre the wheelchair in. The bathroom was a wet-room style with plenty of space. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially where the wheelchair was concerned. The attached restaurant ('Hankies')...

Really enjoyed my week at this recently renovated small hotel on the corner of Shaftesbury Ave and Dean Street Soho-Piccadilly. Formerly a dowdy Best Western, it has been upgraded by a family who have given it a warm atmosphere with very friendly and helpful staff and a small bar-restaurant serving a good breakfast buffet and Indian food and good wines...

Stunning hotel. Fantastic location professional and polite staff. Rooms were quiet although we were at the front of the building on the main road we heard no street noise at all. Thoroughly enjoyed our very brief stay. Just sorry that we couldn't try all the amenities there were in offer. Certainly recommend and look forward to a return stay

This hotel is just amazing! Perfect location in central London, the friendliest staff EVER, and hi-tech refurbished rooms. They just have it all. The full package. I stayed there with my wife, dad and friend for three nights (early March 2017), as I was in London to attend my graduation ceremony. The staff literally killed themselves to be helpful, even...

First of all, the location of this hotel is absolutely perfect. We were less than 2 minutes away from the Queens Theatre. There are lots of great restaurants within walking distance and great shopping on Oxford Street isn't far out of the way. The hotel has a lot of other things going for it-- We loved the rainfall shower, Elemis...

We were down in London to see Les Miserables. We wanted a location close to the theatre and restaurants in the heart of the West End and this was certainly that. Just a few doors away from Queen's Theatre where the show was. What we were not expecting was such a fantastic level of customer service we received at the...

Staying in Soho

Neighbourhood Profile
Soho
The go-to district for a good time in London, Soho hosts a wealth of world-class theatres and a compelling lineup of cafes, restaurants, pubs, bars, and clubs. At Soho's core is London's original Red Light District and the epicenter of the LGBT scene – and thus the city's hottest nightlife. For shopping enthusiasts, Soho is not only the home of London's greatest concentration of boutique shops, but also the most strategic place to set off on a tour of the world's most celebrated department stores. In the southern part of the neighbourhood lies Chinatown, with its multitude of delicious and affordable restaurants. Closer to the Thames, Chinatown's narrow and teeming lantern-lit lanes spill onto the expansive hub of glitzy Leicester Square.
