Right in the heart of London and across the road from the posh Savoy this hotel is an excellent choice to stay. We stayed for two nights (7th floor) the room was spacious and comfortable and clean, bathroom was nice and clean with everything working. The hotel staff all which are professional and helpful, the restaurant food is excellent and the chef and staff do everything in their power to make your stay comfortable. We visited for two shows at the Alnwhich theatre and its just up the road from the hotel. Thanks for a fantastic stay we will be back.

So after much back & forth I decided to visit last Friday just to have a meal & check the place out after reading great reviews. I was mostly taken back by the decor of the building & the friendly service. The staff seemed to have gone over & beyond to accommodate my needs especially when ordering food. The food was above average and I really enjoyed the menu particularly their fish & chips. The receptionist Sharon not familiar with her full name, nevertheless was a delight. Very welcoming with expectional customer service with a smile. I highly recommend your establishment and can't wait to visit again in the near future.

A very nice hotel, in a very good location on the Strand. The decor, cleanliness and rooms were excellent. Staff were all really friendly and professional throughout. One major criticism is in relation to the catering aspects. We didn't include breakfast with our stay but witnessed long queues for breakfast in the morning. I heard people complain about the fact that there were many free tables but just not enough staff to handle the turnover. On Saturday night we decided to have our one and only drink at the hotel. Unfortunately, all of the beer had sold out. The waiting staff said that they had simply run out because they were busy. Inexcusable! So, a few issues that need to be resolved. Overall though, if you want a nice, clean and perfectly located hotel and plan to eat and drink elsewhere, then I would thoroughly recommend the Strand Palace.

Well what can I say! This was my partner and my first time staying at this beautiful hotel. This holiday ideally situated, in the centre of London. We did a package deal through British airways, and this was the first hotel that caught our eye. Straight across the road from the savoy hotel, and only ten minutes walk to Trafalgar Square, and about the same to Leicester Square. My partner and me like to walk while on holiday, we are both a bit older, as in 50’s. We spent a lot of our time, during the days, sightseeing and eating out. This was a wonderful experience for us, as we are from Scotland. The hotel itself, is a fantastic and beautiful hotel, with some of the most amazing, helpful and caring staff you could ask for. This hotel has nine floors, we were up on the eighth floor, it didn’t have the best view, but it was only a room to relax in, after a long day sightseeing. Our room was meant to have air conditioning, but it didn’t work very well. We complained to reception about this, and they sent an engineer up to have a look at it, and he couldn’t find the fault, so I asked if we could have a fan for the room, which he brought up later, and that was a god send. We had breakfast every morning down at haxells restaurant/bar, you could enjoy a continental style breakfast, or a cooked breakfast, which was really good. This was a busy restaurant during breakfast time, we had to wait in a queue at times, but it was worth the wait. This is a very clean and well kept hotel. The rooms are an adequate size. This hotel also has a fitness suite. We had booked a couple of shows (Cinderella and the jersey boys) and found them after a bit of navigating. In the end, all the theatres were all within walking distance of the hotel. We would highly recommend this hotel, and would love to return here in the future..
