For the money this is a great hotel. Easy to find from Monument tube. Friendly staff, early check in and luggage storage. The room was a good size and comfortable. Access to chilled water on each floor and the lounge provided access to computers and bean to cup coffee. Great extras - will stay again.

Wife and I stayed here. Flew into Gatwick. Thamesbridge link to London Bridge. Walked the remainder (not far). It was a good place for us. Very small, but common for London, New York, Paris... Great location across from Leadenhall Market and next to Crosse Keys pub. Service was fine. Checkin good. No complaints whatsoever. 1 block to Monument Tube station.

Finally a self service checkin & checkout, so quick to enter and quick to exit. Room was decent, had everything you need and not small at all. Only small remark: gym was a bit tiny for a 1.96 meters tall man. I almost touched the ceiling when running on the treadmill. Other than that a pleasant stay and excellent location.

Delightful Hotel, clearly aimed at the business traveller, with high speed free wifi throughout and computer stations and printer in the Lounge. Excellent service. Looked after our bag for the day after we checked out. Free coffee tea and chilled water available at reception. Very good location for Leadenhall Market, St Pauls and the City area.

Wasn't sure what to expect with this hotel but it was fantastic! The rooms were very big, clean and had everything you needed. It's in a great location, a good number of bars and restaurants around as well as being very close to transport connections.

A most pleasant stay, very comfortable room,s close to public transport, good amenities, well appointed rooms. Only downside is check-in staff a bit clinical. also location good, but perhaps in the City of LOndon not really aimed at the leisre end of the market as in the business district.

Impromptu trip to London wanted to focus on the City and this was super value. Checking in swift but we were given a room on the 8th floor and there was a throbbing noise which I would never have slept through evidently there is a plant on the roof. Back to reception and switched to a room known to be...

Staying in City of London

Neighbourhood Profile
City of London
From its ancient past as a Roman trading outpost to its 21st century status as the wealthiest square mile in the world, the financial district known simply as “The City” is one of London's most historic and fascinating neighbourhoods. Here high rise office towers such as Norman Foster’s Gherkin mingle with Roman ruins and architectural marvels from virtually every era in between, including Christopher Wren's glorious St.Paul's Cathedral, and John Soane's dauntingly classicist Bank of England. This neighbourhood is also home to some of the finest restaurants and plushest hotels in Europe, in addition to an assortment of of watering holes, upscale shops, and Tube stations. During the week, the City is abuzz with white collar workers going about their business; the weekend sees this area turn into a quiet haven for sightseers.
