Easy to walk to from King's Cross. Quiet roads and close to historical areas. Various Tube stations nearby. Rooms clean (recent refurb.) and staff friendly and helpful.Breakfast was brilliant with as much as you could eat and well worth the money!

Stayed here for two nights whilst seeing a bit of London. The nearest tube is a bit of a walk but we new this and walked to most places anyway. The room was a good standard. Clean and practical. I would stay here again.

Stayed here for one night in between staying at a 5 star hotel. To be fair this hotel was better than the 5 star on a few points. Breakfast was amazing and extremely well priced. Staff were all kind and lovely. Room was extremely clean and fresh. The hotel has had a new refit so everything was brand new. Fresh...

Not sure why there is so many bad reviews for this hotel... We stayed over Easter weekend for 3 nights arrived early where we was asked if we wanted to either leave our luggage with them or pay £10 for early check in. We did the early check in which we didn't mind paying for, our room was on the...

I stayed in a twin room it was clean and tidy. Good location for kings cross and Euston stations .I did not use the restaurant so can not comment on it. My daughter and I had a pleasant stay, the room offers everything you need for your stay.

Very comfortable Travelodge, newly refurbished. Very friendly welcome. Our room was quite large with a double bed and a shower room. Just hanging space, no drawers and a desk type area. Plenty of sockets there and at the bedside. Air con in the room too which is great. Everything you need for a short stay. Hairdryer available from reception also...

We paid £99 for a twin room. The hotel has been undergoing a refurbishment and we felt that although the room was compact, it was well designed so it felt spacious enough and gave us ample storage etc; The location is good (less than 10 minutes walk to St Pancras/Kings Cross) and the welcome was friendly. The toiletries are minimal...

Good clean rooms, all recently refurbished. Building works did not ruin our stay at all. Location not great, and abit of a walk to Covent Garden etc. Same from Kings Cross. Not one a hotel I would chose to return too.

Staying in Clerkenwell

Neighbourhood Profile
Owing to its proximity to Smithfield Market – the site of an ancient meat market which remains in operation today – Clerkenwell boasts a plethora of globally renowned restaurants, fabulous local eateries, and some of London's favorite pubs. This isn't merely a focal point for all things foodie though. Spend enough time wondering through the area's maze of streets and you might become accustomed to the litany of slinky models passing between Clerkenwell's handful of fashion houses. Far outnumbering the models are craftspeople and designers, many of them are more than happy to welcome visitors into their studios and showrooms.
