After reading some of the reviews of this hotel on here I was concerned about going to the Astor Court Hotel. To be fair to it there's nothing wrong with it. It's in a good location. The rooms are a reasonable size. The staff are helpful. But there's nothing amazing about it. The breakfast is a help yourself continental affair....

I recently stayed at the Astor Court due to winning a photo shoot at Paparazzi studios. I have to say I couldn't be happier with the whole break in general. My fiancee and I had a great time at the hotel and a wonderful shoot at the studios. With many happy memories to take away. I would recommend both the...

The rooms were small for 3 persons but were clean. Staff was ok. If breakfast is important to you do not stay at this hotel as your choices are limited and the coffee is from a machine. The building is old but quite near to Oxford Street which is the only plus this hotel has and sells it at a...

Not the warmest welcome on Reception. Room was a good size but very dated. Bathroom certainly needed updating. It was nice and warm though and bed was not too uncomfortable. Very noisy from the underground. Breakfast was very poor and all the staff were jabbering away in a foreign language. Did not speak to an English person the whole duration...

This hotel is old and perhaps could be described as shabby chic. However the rooms are very clean and well appointed. The location is excellent - only a few minutes from Oxford Circus. We considered the room rate very reasonable for London. Would stay again.

Bedsheets were fresh and mattresses good.Lots of clean towels and had no problems with plumbing like other reviewers have had.We all slept really well. Breakfast was very nice, cereal croissants,...

A great location for the West End, but the hotel is tired and past its sell by date. The description is far more grand than what we actually found. Good space in the rooms, but minimal services. Breakfast basic and split between two areas, so a bit of a lottery of what you manage to get. Support staff and front...

If you expect a four star hotel for the price of a two star hotel, this is not the place for you, but if you can see the charm in some squeeky floorboards (under the carpet) and old fashioned (but clean) bathrooms and appreciate a helpfull (Russian??) staff this place is centrally placed with a short walking distance to the...

Where to start. When we arrived,at the hotel, we were met by a receptionist who looked like she would far rather be somewhere else, now we know why! When we got to our appartment (27),we soon realised that, although, we had opted for a hotel at the budget end of the market,we had picked the wrong hotel. The curtains had holes in them,the...

This hotel is very, very dated, shabby and desperately in need of a total referb!! Everything about it is bad, although it is very handy for Oxford street if all you wanted to do was shop! Not good location for sight seeing though! The photos are extremely complinentary and do not give a true reflection! I certainly would not reccomend...
