Short and Sweet
1. On arrival reception staff said we could certainly extend our stay an extra night no worries.
2. 8am next morning awoken to major construction above our floor...MAJOR. Called the front desk...polite but did nothing
3. Entire room Smelled like mold
Fantastic location at the back of the BBC in central London. Nice old building with a modern reception. Rooms unfortunately are old fashioned, with outdated furnishings, and equipment. Continental Breakfast was 1980s style. Not good enough for the current day and for the cost of...More
We needed a reasonably-priced hotel near Gt. Portland St. in London and were pleasantly surprised to find this one. This sophisticated and sociable slice of Central London is a shopper’s paradise, offering the latest fashions, gadgets, and souvenirs. Fitzrovia is conveniently located between the major retail thoroughfares of Regent Street to the west and Tottenham Court Road to the east, with a handful of well connected Tube stations dotted around the area for easy transport. This neighbourhood is a favorite
among foodies as well, with an impressive number of quality restaurants, pubs, cafes and food shops vying for your patronage – especially along Charlotte Street and near Goodge Street Station.

There seemed to be a lot of safe street parking- there was a Bentley parked out front the entire time we were there. It is one block from the BBC HQ- maybe they have a garage? (We didn't drive- from the US. Too Scary!)
