Fantastic location, always come away wanting to stay again. Staff very friendly nothing is too much trouble. If you are planning a special trip to London stay here. Right next to Embankment station and a short 7 minute walk to the Theatre District.

Tucked away on a back street right next to Trafalgar Square. Ideal for sightseeing and in close proximity to all the shows. Hotel is clean and spacious. Staff are very friendly and super helpful. Drinks were v expensive but food a lot more reasonably priced and very tasty. Would definitely stay here again.

The breakfast was great and the afternoon tea was lovely. All of the staff were more than helpful. Can't say enough praise. Will be staying again in the near future.

This was my 6th visit to this hotel so you can tell I really like it. It is a beautiful building and decorated in a classically elegant style. The staff are always very welcoming and attentive to your needs. I had an upgrade to an executive room opposite the London Eye, so I had a great view. The room was...

Pros - friendly, welcoming staff. Comfortable bed, heating/air con easy to understand! Complimentary refreshments in mini bar. Good location. Cons- no bathrobe in room, shower tv did not work. Waited over 40 minutes to get in to breakfast. 2 couples and another solo diner went in before me despite arriving after me. I do realise they would be busy on...

Myself and my wife recently stayed at the Royal Horse guards Hotel to celebrate our wedding anniversary. The hotel staff were fantastic and the hotel is in a great central location close to Leicester Square and Covent garden. The Breakfast was included and we could not fault the selection on offer. Would highly recommend this Hotel and will definitely return.

Although adjacent to the National Liberal Club, this place is as American as its embassy. Strictly a top-end hostel for those who can't quite do Claridges it's as close as you can get to sleeping in Downing Street! Unless you're called Theresa!

Staying in Westminster

Neighbourhood Profile
Westminster
If you only had an afternoon to experience London on a grand scale, Westminster would be a wise place to start. The ornate Houses of Parliament and Westminster Abbey sit adjacent at a corner of Parliament Square, and a short stroll along The Mall leads to Buckingham Palace. Trafalgar Square and Nelson's Column are just up the road as well. As captivating as the architecture is, the wonders of Mother Nature are highlights of the area too. St James's Park (arguably London's loveliest), the expansive Green Park, and pedestrian friendly tree lined paths along the river showcase the exquisite manicure provided by English gardeners. Just beyond the landmarks and the gorgeous outdoor spaces, quiet residential squares and age old local pubs offer a more subdued take on this global seat of power in the heart of London.
