I wanted to love Henley House, especially after perusing their website. It seemed to be just what my sister and I were looking for. Cute and funky with fun and unique features. The location is AWESOME which makes me love HH. Right off the tube station that links you to the airport or major attractions, no transfer required. When we... More

Henley House was great! The room was cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed. The location is great! It is just a few minutes walk from the Earl's Court Underground station so accessing any where in London is easy. There are places to eat within a short walk as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful anytime we... More

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights before a tour and 8 nights after, and loved it. It's really convenient to everything. We flew into Heathrow, and took the Underground into the city. The stop for the hotel (Earl's Court) is on the same line, so there's no need to worry about transfers (but when you go back to... More

Nice hotel with friendly staff, good traffic connection. Room is a bit small, but efficient and with good multimedia sets, and who wants to stay in room when in London? The breakfast menu ist not the biggest, but more than sufficient.

We were attending a late night prom at the Royal Albert Hall on a day when Southern rail were once again on strike. Given that the concert wasn't likely to finish until 11:30pm at the earliest, the safest options were going to be a long trip on the night bus or to find a hotel. Clearly anything near South Kensington... More

Fantastic location just 3 min walk from Earls Court tube. Recently refurbished building with fresh, clean, well lit room. Everything was provided, comfy bed but with rock hard pillows, HUGE flat screen TV, tea & coffee making facilities, well lit bathroom and clean shower but with weak water flow. The only real negative was max 12 inches from bed end... More

We stayed here last year and nothing has changed. Still excellent service and clean comfortable rooms. Only critism I have is in the bathroom. We would like to see another ledge on top of the wash basin. Not enough room to store toiletries. Continental breakfast is very good. Thanks to all the staff who looked after us so well for our... We stayed at the Henley House Hotel from August 1st through August 9th. We chose this hotel based upon the positive recommendations on Tripadvisor and location. We stayed in room number 12. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Pros: 1. The room and bathroom were updated and modern. Both were a comfortable size. Our room had bay windows... More

small hotel near Earl`s Court, not to expensive, but only for a short trip to London. Rooms are quiet small and lobby & breakfast areas are also small and not cosy for staying longer...especially if Hotel is fully booked... no bar, no cafe...just good for sleeping. Bed was comfortable, room quiet calm.

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
