Stayed one night here. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, small but perfect bathroom. All staff were friendly and helpful. Air conditioning very welcome. Ideal location, 5 min walk to museums, 10 mins to Royal Albert Hall. Breakfast is pricey so we went across the road to a lovely little cafe! Fridge in the room.

My fiancé and I spent a wonderful weekend in London based at the impeccable Bailey's. Staff were excellent and this quiet well apportioned little gem is phenomenal value for money when considering the high standard and location. Will definitely return.

Spent 3 nights at this beautiful hotel. The location is fantastic, literally steps away from Gloucester road tube station. We booked some great tours through the knowledgeable concierge and took his advice on some good restaurants in the surrounding area. The rooms, service and friendly staff, especially Gary the doorman, made a true impression on my kids and grandkids. Memories,...

Second time in this Hotel. Now fully refurbished and renovated. Very nice and spacious rooms. Breakfast is very good to. Hard to get closer to the underground, it is literally across the street, makes it very easy getting around. Friendly and polite staff, good bar and restaurant. To top it of we where given one of their signature suites and...

We have just returned from a weekend stay at the Bailey's Hotel to celebrate my wife's 50th Birthday and can honestly say we could not have picked a better place. After a slight issue after getting our room which was dealt with very courteously and professionally by the Duty Manager Piotr on reception and Daniel from concierge, we were given...

I do feel that the location of this hotel is excellent. 1 minute walk from the station is a big big plus specially when you carry heavy luggage. The room was given to us even when we arrived much earlier than expected. Staffs were friendly with a street smart sense as well. Sometimes the friendliness was a bit overkill with...

We booked through A BA offer and our room was a double economy room (403). Beautifully clean and tidy, very, very small which was exaggerated by the wallpaper! Little light of offer as the window opens into a stairwell. Be careful not to leave it open in the mornings as the hotel cleaner enjoys a cigarette on the escape stairwell....

Had a wonderful six-day stay here. Lovely rooms with super modern but classic looking bathrooms, very comfortable beds and nice extra space for a writing desk and chair. Tall windows with sound from outside well blocked but loads of light coming in when you want it. Housekeeping was very attentive and we had room service several times which was perfect....

Excellent hotel with new renovation. I had booked a luxury room with lounge access and was cheerfully asked by reception staff if I wanted to upgrade to a junior suite for £30 a night extra which I did. It was a huge, quiet room. The reception staff, Andrei and Sara were excellent - lovely people. Breakfast was excellent. The hotel...

Only a one night stay but decent sized room with good amenities. Inc sky tv which is rare these days. Great for South Kensington and short walk to the kings rd! Cannot comment on food but looked good when we were having a drink in the bar

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
