The staff were friendly and very helpful when needed. The location is perfect and quiet, just a 5 minute walk to the tube...

A bit like a Travelodge with pretensions to grandeur (colourful cushions in reception) but twice the price. Staff could do with some training on how to deal with/speak to guests and you could do without the random male staff member glowering menacingly over the receptionist's shoulder as people check in/out. Tiny rooms, no soundproofing. Not really close to anything of...

nicely renovated boutique hotel with a good continental breakfast buffet - "english breakfast" to be paid; tube station in reasonable walking distance, located next to Kensington Gardens; staff was very helpful; international socket for those who need other than UK plug present;

If you want small and quiet this is hotel is ideal. Make sure you know where it is because it is difficult to find. Good access to tube and bus . The hotel is spotlessly clean however the rooms are small.Not untypical for London hotels at the lower end of price.The tea making facilities in the room are awful.A fancy...

We have just got back from a 4 day visit to London and we stayed at this hotel. The hotel is just off the Bays water road overlooking the Hyde park. As it is just off the main Rd, it is quiet at night. You can hardly hear any traffic noise at all. The place is very modern and nicely...

The Arbor Hotel is just a 10 minute walk from Paddington Station, which was very convenient for us, since we were arriving at this station. The hotel is in the corner of a very quiet square and in a lovely area. The rooms are a little small, but are very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Amenities included free...

This is a nice hotel in short walking distance from several tube stations. Bus is only 200m away by Kensington park. Hotel is newly built in an old building. Rooms are quite small but very clean. We got good service and I was very pleased with the breakfast buffet.

Very impressed with the Arbor Hyde Park. Easy walking distance to Tube stations (unfortunately Lancaster Gate is closed till July 2017 but others are close). The room(s) we had (101) was large and very comfortable. Great bed, shower and drawing room. Obviously converted from a large old house, judging by the passageway (with a useful wardrobe/safe/coffee maker etc) between drawing...

I stayed here for 1 night on business so I only needed a bed to sleep. For that purpose the hotel was acceptable. The room was actually nicely decorated but it was minuscule, my suitcase wouldn´t even open properly. The breakfast was quite good and the hotel is not far from Paddington and close to Hyde Park.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Despite being just a short hop away from the West End of London, Arbor Hyde Park feels like it's a million miles from the intense whirl of nearby Marble Arch. Hidden away on a quiet loop that curves off from the main stretch of Lancaster Gate, the hotel provides its guests with a level of quiet seclusion rarely found in so accessible a location. Housed within a beautiful Victorian terrace, just a couple of minutes' walk from the trees, lakes and green spaces of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, Arbor Hyde Park offers a style of meticulous but unobtrusive service that matches the simple elegance of its architecture. The hotel has been designed for the comfort and convenience of its guests, with an emphasis on understated quality. There aren't many places in central London that can claim to be genuinely restful. The Royal Parks can make a good case; Arbor Hyde Park, which looks out over one of those parks, can too. ... more   less
