In London for the Xmas lights and stayed at this Travelodge for two good reasons: Firstly, we have stayed here before and had an enjoyable stay and secondly its central for all the places we wished to visit i.e. Regent, Carnabie and Oxford Street, Covent Garden, Piccadilly Circus and Leicester Square. We were also offered a room at the top... More

I stayed with friends at the Travelodge Covent Garden and I think it's be best choice that can be done in Central London. The room is essential (Travelodge room are always the same) but large and clean. The price is good and you can go everywere in central London (Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Westminster, Piccadilly Circus...) in a few minutes... More

Stayed there in oct14 for 3 nights and I must say for the money it was very good, the breakfasts were brilliant with my only complaint being no fried eggs but that's a personal choice,it's clean comfortable and very central for most places with a tube station a 5 minute walk away so all in all I will be staying there... Good central place for London, stayed a few times at the hotel and have been very satisfied with it. Must mention the excellent service that we got from the reception staff member Ben, who helped us and was a most friendly and efficient lad.

Disappointed from start to finish- our bathroom sink basin had a crack in it and there was a problem with drainage which resulted in our sink filling with gunge. The shower would not change temperature and stayed at hot even whenever it was on cold. The hallway carpet was filthy and the dirt sat thick, the lifts smelt really bad.... More

Unbearable lift noise preventing us from sleeping. Room 1361. Generally a really good room. Large, with a double door preventing external noise entering the room. Not this time. As you are on the top floor you are near to the top of the lifts. One lift was out of order. We now see why. The workings from the other two... More

Stayed in Travelodge at High Holborn over road from Travelodge Dury Lane-all personnel we spoke to were friendly and helpful. We found both Covent Garden and Oxford Street easily walkable-enjoyed Covent Garden with lots of proper pubs!
