Too expensive probably because of dates and late reservations. Staff was hospitable and helpful . Location very convenient and accessible. Nice color scheme in rooms . Complimentary coffee machine and Nespresso capsules convenient ..

We have been regularly staying at The Mandeville during our trips to London over the last few years and we always get to experience quality and reliable service, which in combination with the superb location of the hotel makes it an unbeatable option.

Great room, friendly staff, lovely atmosphere. The purple corridors were a little startling when you left your room but the quirky interiors are something to be enjoyed, great cocktails and excellent location a stones throw from tonnes of great restaurants

Staff at reception are helpful. Standard double rooms are comfortable and reasonably sized with all necessary equipment. Bar staff are very friendly and helpful. Bar snacks are of a good quality but a little expensive. Breakfast choice is extensive. Only criticism would be that breakfast staff do not seem capable of taking your order correctly which is a shame as...

Stay here and save the taxi and bus fare. Goode service, small rooms, but what a location - recommended. Try and get the design rooms , those are worth wile the extra cost. ( bathrooms are slightly small )

Stayed for a short weekend family break while we enjoyed the theatre and shopping. The staff were incredibly kind to the children and made us all feel very special. We had a beautiful room which was generous in space for central London, very clean and kept to a high standard. Would definitely recommend this hotel to all family and friends...

We found The Mandeville Hotel to be an excellent hotel, in a great location! Rooms and service were excellent. We did not dine at the restaurant, but we did have drinks at the bar, which we found rather expensive given the small portions.

We recently stayed at this hotel and it was a major disappointment. Having paid nearly £300 for one night (without breakfast) I could not believe the poor quality of the first room they tried to put us in. It was so small you could not get out of the small double bed on both sides, one side was pushed directly...

Staying in Marylebone

Neighbourhood Profile
Marylebone
Marylebone offers what so many London neighbourhoods cannot: a village feel coupled with urban convenience. Much of its success rests in its location. Wedged between the northeastern corner of Hyde Park and the southern end of Regent's Park and with a number of Tube stations within easy reach, Marylebone is as pedestrian friendly as Central London gets. The bustling shopping mecca of Oxford Street separates it from Soho and Mayfair, exclusive Regent Street marks its border with Fitzrovia, and cosmopolitan Edgware Road serves as its western edge. Within this enviably situated quarter are an array of outstanding restaurants (from Michelin darlings to down and dirty cheeseburgers), an impressive assortment of independently owned shops, and some of the city's quietest and most pleasant nooks, crannies and cobbled lanes.
