We were here in August fir a small family weekend away. The hotel was over crowded especially at breakfast. I was a bit concerned about Covid protocols in the lounge as there were people hogging it, picking food with their hands and talking over it so we avoided it altogether. We had to book slots for the pool which is fair enough but on one occasion there were 25 people in the pool as they had some sort of lifeguard training going on. THE GYM IS VERY GOOD and well looked after. Carluccios on site was dire however plenty of restaurants nearby to ok choose from .

Visited with 2 teenagers, who loved a dip in the pool after a day out. Carluccios on site is amazing for food at any time of day. The leisure staff are fab. The hotel staff are extremely professional, efficient and friendly. If you’re concerned about cleanliness and covid rules, this place is doing a great job at keeping everyone safe. The rooms are very large and have all the facilities you would expect. In terms of location, there is a tube nearby (Swiss cottage) and plenty of park space for kids. A great leafy walk into the city too. Will 100% bear this hotel in mind for future visits.

The hotel is in a nice quiet part of London in Swiss Cottage. Getting to and from Kings Cross was a bit of a trek as the journey from Finchley Road tube station is a good 10 mins walk or a £6 Uber ride. Swiss Cottage tube is much nearer for other destinations. Our bedroom was spacious and very quiet. The bed was super comfortable and they supplied us with some foam pillows which was great. It was my birthday on the day we arrived and the hotel had decorated our bedroom with some balloons and provided some Prosecco and chocolates - a nice touch and much appreciated. Thank you.

Had a weekend visit for my husbands birthday. We stayed in an executor suite with terrace and club lounge access. A little disappointed with the room and terrace, I thought it would be bigger and the terrace was more like a balcony with a couple of rattan chairs, whereas the rooms with a balcony are much smaller and no furniture at all. The room was very clean. Other than having to call reception 3 times to get a tray of food left behind from the previous guests, outside the room. It wasn’t very nice to see when entering the room and it wasn’t taken away until 10pm which was disappointing. Melissa on reception was very apologetic and made sure it finally got taken away. Carluccio’s restaurant - WOW WOW WOW! The food was amazing here, the staff were brilliant accommodating polite and couldn’t do enough for you! It was definitely the highlight of my visit here and so worth eating here. The food was fresh and delicious! Johnathan the head chef made sure everything was at an excellent standard and I can’t give him enough credit for top quality food! The club lounge perks were worth having as I could go in there at any time for a bottle of Pepsi or some fresh fruit or crisps and was totally complimentary. They also have desserts in the evening along with cheese and crackers. We went swimming on the first night and the pool was lovely. Overall we had a great stay and it’s a beautiful hotel inside, although it didn’t look that appealing from the outside.

As a platinum bonvoy member of Marriott rewards, I’ve been fortunate enough to stay in group hotels around the world. The Marriott Regent’s Park is unfortunately the worst so far! The location is absolutely fantastic but there are some glaring shortcomings that really need to be addressed, from a management perspective especially. Check in was easy and relatively fast and the rooms are functional, clean and of a good size. On the first evening a visit to the bar prior to dinner was enjoyable and a good selection was available. Returning after dinner, the bar area was full with guests without masks, all drinking bottled beer. The reason. No gas for the draught pumps. Not a massive issue but disappointing for a Friday evening. Breakfast on Saturday morning was farcical! The hot plate is located directly next to the bar where, the previous evening, Covid measures were ‘relaxed’ to say the least. Not so with breakfast! 30 mins standing in a queue for cold ‘fried’ eggs is painful when you are young, however, for the elderly guests it was really unacceptable. There was zero appreciation of the situation or leadership by management and the staff seemed to be at a loss as to what to do. Cold bacon, beans and sausage and fried eggs that were, well, quite frankly, inedible in a Marriott is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. After a fantastic day out and dinner in a superb itallian restaurant on the Saturday evening it was so frustrating to find out, once again, that there was no draught beer available in the bar again due to no gas! The hotel has the potential but really needs an injection of professionalism. Management, you owe it to your guests and to the Marriott group to get on top of the unacceptable levels of service that currently exist in this hotel
