Although this is a centrally located hotel, just 10 mins walk from Victoria station, I was disappointed with my stay. Reception staff hardly spoke to me. Rooms very compact. Small, but comfy beds. En-suite, although beautifully, and newly decorated , was tiny. It had a wetfloor, and once you had showered you couldn't stand on the floor. Extractor fan didn't...

We book this hotel for the proximity to Victoria train station. The worst deal I have received from the customer service staff. The front desk staff treated us as if we owed them something and they were not polite

My girlfriend and I went to London for 3 days and we choose this hotel to stay, as we were going to visit the city we just needed a place to sleep. Well the guy in the recepcion has the worst customer service I've seen in my entire life. Unveliebable. We both been working in the hospitality business for several...

B&b itself was lovely and fresh, newly referbished and very clean However, VERY small, pictures were deceiving, had room number 7 which was located next door to reception/soon as you walk in which meant could hear the door slamming every time someone came in and out, reception staff also use the bathroom toilet when vacant as it smelt terribly on...

Safe, quiet, convenient location. 10mins walk from Victoria station, shops and eateries. 40mins walk from National Gallery and 30mins from V&A (i don't like public transport! ) tiny rooms but they are very clean. All staff are lovely. Breakfast is drinks, cereals, toast, croissants and buns. Good value for money!

I only stayed one night before catching a early train at Victoria station, so the location is perfect! I was able to walk there. The area itself is pretty quite, residential, so not a whole lot going on. The hotel and the room were ok, convenient and comfortable.

This is a budget hotel, so I'm not going to complain about the room-size (room 13 is smaller than some cupboards I have seen). It had the basics, and a small but fair bathroom, the bed was reasonable and it was clean- if all you want is a place to shower and sleep, its OK. The problem is access- you...

Booked on reviews, this was the best in the price bracket and the location is good. There are many available B&B and hotels in this area with vacancies showing. We arrived a bit early and asked to leave our luggage. Offered a room that was ready we decided to take it. Perhaps we should have asked for another room. It...

As mentioned at the title, I stayed at a single room for 1 person, there were bed and closet at the wall above the foot of the bed. The room was very small, and at the time TV didn't work, but didn't complain about it. Two men at the front were friendly, they carried luggage to my room, 1 floor...

Very good central location and on the night tube line so you can get back without a taxi , the hotel is very clean and modern but the rooms are small as are the beds. Didn't have the breakfast as went for fry up on the local wetherspoons instead. Stayed 2 nights for the NFL weekend and as we didn't...

Staying in Pimlico

Neighbourhood Profile
Pimlico
Time spent in Pimlico is a slower-paced affair than most other Central London neighbourhoods. This largely residential area orderly arranged beside the Thames, is a treasure trove of quaint pubs, subtle architectural charms and local boutiques. Here, art lovers thrill at the chance to visit the world class Tate Britain gallery for its collection of British art from the 1500s to the present. For peace and quiet and some downtime spent along the Thames, Pimlico is highly recommended.
