We booked this hotel through hotwire so we did not know what we were getting into. We were very disappointed. What was described as a 3 star hotel can only truly be described as shabby and in need of updating. I'm sure this was once...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

I am not sure but having looked at the map it seems that the Dominion Theatre is in Westminster and the hotel is in Kensington near The Serpentine. It would be at least a tube ride away and not within walking distance
