I had an Afternoon Tea with my very good friend. Thanks for the chefs the beautifully presented cakes selection and very delicious food, for Juan and Emilio the excellent service. We were looked after very well. Special thanks for Scott, we had the opportuniy to listen his singing. It was absolutely amazing. We were very pleased. Highly recommended!

We stayed only one night but it was really special. Jacques and his team made sure that we felt looked after and our every need was met. Every one who served us was courteous, friendly and efficient. It's in a beautiful location behind Brompton Road, close to Harrrods and the Aquila spa, where I enjoyed a relaxing swim thanks to...

Organised this trip to stay with 3 of the Red Carnation group hotels. We started with the No4 ranking on TripAdvisor. The room is super clean and tastefully decorated, service is flawless and the bed is really comfortable. It is conveniently located in Knightsbridge and the staff offer great advice for tourists. I love their romantic turndown service in the...

We went here for Afternoon tea. Attention to detail was great and the service was amazing! Juan (who was our waiter) was lovely. I would definitely come back. The scones were cooked to perfection and the hibiscus tea was divine. It is a dog friendly place and theres a separate afternoon tea menu for them! This is a proper 5*...

We only stayed two nights but I would quite happily have moved in. From start to finish we were welcomed, looked after amazingly and made so comfortable. It is 5* so you know they have their bases covered, however no small detail has been overlooked and they all add up to a superior experience. Even down to a lit candle...

After using Egerton House as my home base several times over the past 10 years, I'm now fully committed to staying there For All Time whenever I'm in London, and have urged friends and family to do the same. It is, hands down, perhaps the most welcoming, warm, delightful, and comfortable boutique hotels - or any hotel, come to think...

Another stay at Egerton House, this time with my grandson Max. What a pleasure to be there! So hospitable. Flawless service. Great comfort. The staff are like old friends. We've stayed in many good hotels around the world. Egerton House is not good: it's great!

We had the good fortune to wrap up our European vacation in London. We had been told by many to go to the Egerton House Hotel for one of Esley's famous martinis! We consider ourselves martini connoisseurs, and are thankful that we truly did find the BEST martini in Europe. Esley Gunaratne is so charming and gracious and set the...

Staying in Chelsea

Neighbourhood Profile
Chelsea
Wealth courses through The King's Road, Chelsea's upmarket artery of West London life packed with shops, eateries and glitzy nightspots. For people-watching at its best and luxury retail therapy that's largely unrivalled, this area cannot be missed. But if this showy street starts to overwhelm or a moment of price tag shock sends you reeling, a quick detour down pretty much any of many King's Road veins will reveal a quieter side of Chelsea. Here the stately Royal Hospital hosts its world-famous flower show, and the Thames rolls along at a lazy pace, with leafy Battersea Park and its Peace Pagoda beckoning from across the river.
