I chose this hotel for it's location and it was a budget price. Near to Kensington and Royal Albert Hall is half hour walk away. Also not far from Gloucester Rd tube station.
The hotel was fine, we were there for a night only and...More
Three of us stayed at the Cromwell for a weekend break. We were very pleased to find 2 large double beds in the room, which were very comfortable.Bathroom and shower were also modern and clean. The room was light and airy due to two big...More
This hotel is well worth just walking past. The corridors are in great need of a good clean, the smell is horrible. The Iron banister up the stair case is seriously environmental health issue as the just is so thick. The room was a single...More
I only needed a bed for one night in central London, between a meeting one evening and another the following morning, so I wasn't too bothered about the quality so long as the price was right. This hotel was cheap but surprisingly good. There's a...More

With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming
and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.

We stayed in a very clean well decorated, not bad size for the money, room. It smelt clean and was quite. The bathroom was clean enough to eat your food off of. The shower was a perfect temperature, and the toilet modern and clean. Not a sign of the past occupants could be found, if you get my drift.
I can only report what we found. It was room 5, so if you are a couple, like twin beds and can climb 5 stairs this is the room for you. Go for it.
