We were a party of four. The hotel was clean. The staff were a "bit stuffy" upon arrival. After speaking with the front desk manager the staff seemed more friendly. The bar is a great place for drinks - the bartenders were the friendliest people in the hotel. Biggest complaint -- the elevator was out for the entire visit. Had...

This hotel is at a great location, and newly renovated. Rooms are small, but clean and nice. The Asian woman supervising breakfast is hovering like a hawk above the guests. Not very welcoming or friendly. All business. The girls serving and attending at breakfast look very not-motivated, and are almost being treated as slaves by the Asian woman. Please, Norfolk...

After a small problem with our allocated room, we were moved quickly and seemlessly. The staff were without exception, the best experienced in London for years. From check in to check out they were faultless and professional. Great breakfast too, which we had not intended having as part of our package, but ate there every morning.

We booked a one night stay here and were allocated a room on the 4 th floor , the lift was broken so my friend, who as a serious illness asked for a different room. The staff immediately offered a suite on the lower ground floor which they made up for us in 5 minutes ! Lovely room , spotlessly...

Stayed one night as part of a business trip. It is a beautiful hotel close to Paddington station and the friendly smile of the staffs made me feel pretty comfortable, especially after a long day's work. The bar on the ground floor is atmospheric and both beer and food were great. The only problem is their lift, which is so...

Stayed here one night, it was a lovely hotel. The first thing that strikes you is how incredibly friendly the staff are. They do everything with a smile. The food is so tasty and very reasonable priced. And then me and my sister sat in their bar at happy hour and had the best cocktails ever! Singapore sling, pina colada,...

My girlfriend and I stayed for one night as part of an early-Valentines trip to the capital. We chose the place as it was one of the cheapest we found on booking.com and the reviews were ok. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk from Paddington, right by St Mary's hospital. The lobby is very bright and clean and...

I travel to London most weeks, and usually pay a lot for hotels which are 'fine'. This recently refurbished hotel is about half the price I usually pay-and twice as nice! Now I may have been lucky with the room I got, but if I had a cat I'd be pretty confident of not bashing its brains out in this...

I brought my mum here for her birthday treat. This is in a good location, only 5 minutes walk from Paddington and easy to find. Lots of cafes, shops and fast food/restaurants nearby. Hotel staff were friendly on reception and a gentleman took our bags to the room. After waiting over 5 minutes for the lift we took the stairs....
