Greenwich
Greenwich Mean Time starts here, so to speak, as the very concept of global time was established at Royal Observatory, just one of several buildings of architectural interest in Greenwich. Indeed, the whole of Greenwich's historic town center, its Royal Park and a number of related buildings (and one world famous ship, the Cutty Sark) make up the UNESCO World Heritage site known as Maritime Greenwich. Today a laser beam is shot out across the night sky from the Observatory to mark the location of the Prime Meridian. Other bold (some say brash) 21st century additions to the area include landmarks such as The O2 entertainment complex (previously known as the Millennium Dome) and the Air Line cable cars, which offer scenic transport across the Thames between North Greenwich and the Royal Docks.

This hotel was a good choice. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. We had a problem because the air conditioner was not working but the staff solved this by giving us a heater. The staff was very nice and responsive.

Couldn't fault my recent two night stay. Reception and booking in was great-efficient and friendly. Room was good, quirky, clean and spacious. Cafe Rouge menu was good - and other local chain restaurants very near by. Would highly recommend.

My wife and I stayed for three days. We often stay here as Greenwich is such an interesting location. The adjacent Cafe Rouge is useful, especially for breakfast, but lunches etc as well. Rooms are quiet, beds very comfortable and the staff always helpful. At the price charged

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was good; the room and bathroom were clean, the bed was comfortable and there is a nice restaurant downstairs. Well located, lots of shops, pubs and restaurants in the vicinity. I would definitely recommend.

The hotel and area are fine, do not use the early check in they will hold £50 of your money for 4 weeks. All your usual chains in Greenwich as well as a Weatherspoons, cheap and cheerful food and drink.

I left my car in the morning before checking in during the evening so don't see a problem...just make sure you tell the hotel as they have to register the car.

do any of the rooms come with a mini fridge?
No I don't think so Buy you ask for a bucket of ice one then if you have any drinks you can keep cool all night.
