Usually I dread London Hotels. Tiny cramped rooms, dirty tatty decor etc. etc. NOT this one! This is definitely the best room we've had in London ever. The location is very close to Earls Court tube and handy for the museums (we walked to the V&A the next morning in about 15 mins.). The staff are friendly and efficient, the...

Great location, 2 minutes walk from Earls Court tube station. Quiet side street, close to good restaurants. Very attentive staff. Mini kitchen fully equipped, large modern bathroom and living / sleeping area, free WiFi, free internet via TV. Fantastic boutique hotel. We will defenitely stay again.

Great hotel, just mins walk from Earl's Court. Go there, it's well priced and family stayed there for fraction of cost of most hotels. Very clean, even my mother said so!! Would recommend family stay there again.

It was a pleasure our staying. The staff were very kind. The rooms are perfectly clean. Nothing to complain about it. The earls court station is only one block from the hotel and is a very good station in terms of underground facilities. The only thing to point is that the king bedroom has a back view.

I stayed here for 2 days in early Sept. It was around the corner and a block away from the Earl's Court Tube station. it only takes 3 minutes to walk to. The place was very clean and well kept. It's a bit of a maze inside, but that's no problem. I had room 304, a bijou double. Bathroom was...

I stayed here a couple of years ago and it was equally good this time. Very clean. Great showers & very comfy bed. The dude on reception was really helpful and polite and gave me great directions to a pub I needed to find. Very close to the Tube. Reasonably priced. Top notch.

We stayed here during the olympics for 5 days and then another 2 nights in September. This was our 3rd and 4th stay. As per my previous review, we had a great experience and found the staff to be extra helpful to us and others. We booked superior rooms for 3 people and found them to be very spacious. We will...

Staying in South Kensington

Neighbourhood Profile
South Kensington
With its ivied mews, row upon row of Poppins-esque white washed mansions, and placid garden squares, it's easy to see the charms of South Kensington. And with superb access to Hyde Park, Holland Park and Kensington Gardens, as well as the largely child-friendly and mostly free Museum Quarter (not to mention more major attractions like Royal Albert Hall) such charms are easy to make the most of. As welcoming and cosmopolitan as it is reserved and residential, South Kensington is always a hit with visitors.
