Hart Shoreditch Hotel London, Curio Collection by Hilton is in the heart of stylish Shoreditch, home to art festivals, vintage boutiques, markets, and an abundance of international restaurants. The hotel architecture nods to the local area, with details such as a striking wrought iron and copper staircase hinting at the area’s rich industrial heritage. The lobby weaves together East London’s industrious and artisan history with the brand’s Arabic roots. Mahogany lights echo the carpentry factory past, and hammered copper details reminiscent of Victorian Shoreditch complement the softly rendered walls inspired by the sandstone of Dubai’s Old Town. Make yourself at home in a modern guest room with a rain shower, Smart TV, media hub, and queen bed. Our more spacious Superior Rooms have an espresso machine, bathrobes, and a work space, while Suites also feature a separate lounge area and two televisions. For the ultimate stay, select our One Bedroom Suite with a separate sitting and dining space. Our signature restaurant, Barboun, is an Eastern Mediterranean grill inspired by the flavors of Levantine coastal towns. For cocktails, backgammon, beer, and Turkish Coffee, try our bar, Tavla. Our Grab & Go serves all things coffee and patisserie. Our hotel has a 24-hour fitness center and meeting space is available for bespoke events and gatherings.

Gorgeous hotel in Shoreditch, really central location with shops and restaurants in easy walking distance which made the Deliveroo options plentiful! The room was beautifully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. We had a room with a bath which was stunning but a bit of a squeeze for two when one of you is 6’4! Haha! The staff were very polite and welcoming and explained everything very clearly and provided plates and cutlery for the Deliveroo when it arrived. I think the price was reduced due to lockdown but it was great value for money, would highly recommend:)

Dear Zoeseventyseven, It's wonderful to see you had such a wonderful experience here at Hart Shoreditch! Although still East London, our location is great as we are still very Central and also well connected to the rest of the City, our location is great for discovering the artsy side of London, along with a lot of unique foodie places to explore. Thank you for your kind recognition of our team, we work hard to provide a cozy seamless experience for all of our guests. We are delighted you enjoyed our decor and most importantly, had a good night sleep! Should your travels bring you to London, we would love to host you once more. Warm wishes, Yasmine

Modern hotel, spotless and friendly staff. Room was perfect very quiet (didn’t overlook the main round) and leisurely time for check out. Restaurant popular; breakfast choice perhaps a little limited (alternatives within walking distance). Good selection of bars within walking distance too. Will be back.

Dear Osbl4, Thank you for taking the time to review your stay with us. It's lovely to read you had a comfortable experience and that the location worked well for you. Our breakfast options have recently been changed in light of the pandemic, however we hope when the restrictions are lifted, we will be able to resume with a full menu. Should you find yourself back in Shoreditch again soon, we would love to host you once more. Warm wishes,

Per other guests feedback, I have been unable to use the shower or bath facilities at the hotel over the past two weeks. Any suggestion that the problem "has been rectified" simply isn't true... I was told as recently as this morning that "engineers have fixed at the problem" but the water in my room is currently still cold. Having been informed several times now that the issue has been resolved, I am now looking for alternative accommodation. For anyone considering this hotel, I would strongly advise against it. Even budget offerings in the area can provide hot water!

Please accept our apologies that your stay was impacted due to issues with the water temperature. Unfortunately, we had experienced a technical issue which due to its complexity, required the coordination of several different engineers and technicians to investigate and remedy. Consequently, this process was ongoing for longer than expected as a complete and thorough analysis of our building management system was required and was outside the scope of our onsite team. I can confirm several modifications were successfully completed to ensure a consistent setup for our water temperatures and thus we do not anticipate any future problems. As you mentioned, the hotel team did advise once this had been resolved on the Thursday and this was verified by our chief engineer who went straight to your room after you informed front desk that the water was still cold. Temperature checks were conducted from all outlets with a thermometer and photographic evidence also taken which reconfirmed the issue was indeed fixed at the time of your discussion with reception. I would like to also take the opportunity to confirm the hotel has a strict health and safety protocol which is followed at all times. The hotel remains fully compliant of all legislation and has not fallen foul of any statutory requirements that require further action. Please be mindful that there are legal limits to the maximum temperatures that can be achieved from a bath/shower, however these are still sufficient to be considered as hot and not lukewarm. Regretfully on this occasion, there was a case of a technical issue outside of our scope which has now been rectified and resolved. I do fully appreciate however that this is not up to the standards expected and thus an appropriate rebate has been arranged as discussed with your office in separate conversations. Paul, I would like to thank you for taking the time to provide your feedback and I am happy to note that despite this, you were initially happy with the hotels response and other aspects of your stay. I would also like to thank you for your repeated custom the past few months. It is a real shame that despite your previous stays being issue free, this one did not go as anticipated. Our aim had been to make Hart Shoreditch your home away from home during your extended period with us. It is therefore disappointing for all parties involved that this was not possible. Wishing you all the best,

Everything you’d expect and more from a quality hotel. Super friendly and helpful staff and great location just of great eastern road In Shoreditch. The only improvement would be better coffee in the rooms as instant doesn’t fit with the otherwise good quality act. But overall 10/10 or 5stars from me

This is probably my 4th or 5th visit and like my first visit got a very luke warm shower even running the hot for 10 minutes. Both rooms corner rooms on 4th floor. On visit 2 3rd floor room had plenty of hot water. This needs to be resolved. I think the hotel is great but hot water is a basic requirement and the Hoxton does this really well! All you get from this hotel is its health and safety, I run my own small hotel and this is rubbish. I was asked for id on checkin not a requirement for UK residents and I never travel with any in the Uk. Receptionist was a little insistent, until I said I had Gold status just check my file. So all a bit frustrating. Finally as I have said before the green emergency light is just not acceptable, again to quote buildings regs is nonsense, I have stayed in other newer hotels in London they do not have this problem. I want to love this place as I have work almost next door but won’t be going back. PS the room seal on the outer door stuck over the emergency light sorts it!

Dear Anthony, Thank you for your review of your recent stay with us. It is disappointing to note that your stay was marred by our Health & Safety features. I am sure you are aware of the legal legislation under BS5266 for all hotels to provide emergency lighting and thus the green light forms part of this requirement. With reference to ID, you are completely correct that it is not a UK requirement, however it is a hotel policy for all guests to provide ID for the security of our team members and guests. I am sorry to note you experienced issues with the hot water and our maintenance team has now investigated and rectified this issue. Please accept my apologies that this was not resolved during your stay. Please kindly note the hotel, along with many others, has an anti-scald valve fitted to protect our guests however this is easily overridden by the user themselves. Wishing you a happy new year,
